Extremely unprofessional and pissed me off. I felt very disrespected and it was a messy way to give my children's mother another reason to make our situation more toxic. My children will definitely not be going here. Make sure your staff knows their place to avoid a toxic environment between parents because not all of us are in a relationship with who we co-parent.

Unfortunately, we have faced issues with unfair accusations that have caused unnecessary stress for our family. My son's teacher approached me with concerns regarding my son and as she's telling me these concerns i pulled my son out of class to question him about these accusations. He did Admit to Miss. Abi and myself that he in fact did pull his pants down on the playground. So as I'm disciplining my child based on this accusation, his teacher is there just watching. Later on that night my son's father and i are questioning him again about this accusation as he's never done this before and now hes admitting he didnt do it. The next day I requested video footage of this incident that apparently happened on the playground because when I questioned the teachers, whether or not they seen this incident happened, they both denied seeing this accusation take place. (So why are you telling me this happened when there is NO PROOF) Finally, I got the footage and my son in fact did NOT pull his pants down. He was trying to pull his friends legs down the slide and accidentally pulled his friends pants down a little bit in the process which the principal stated looked purely innocent and non-intentional. No apology has been made to my son nor i for this accusation being made. It truly shows their lack of professionalism. Rather than approaching concerns with open communication and understanding, the teachers made assumptions without fully investigating the situation or considering our child's perspective. This has created an uncomfortable environment where we feel unheard. As parents, we expect educators to foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, but instead, we have encountered miscommunication and a lack of professionalism in handling concerns. I would not recommend this classroom to other parents unless significant changes are made to ensure fairness, proper communication, and a more compassionate approach towards students and their families.

The teachers actually care about the kids, they care about their wellbeing, they care about them being on time so they don't miss any lessons. The staff always greet me with a smile, the owner is always polite. My daughter seems to be more independent since she's been going to Kiddie Academy and for the first time my daughter actually wants to go to school. Its like her home away from home. FOOD ALLERGY/SPECIAL NEEDS PARENTS - Do not put your kids here. My son attended pre-k here. I came…read moreacross something today that rehashed my entire experience and how bad it was. I couldn't not write a review. Food allergy issues: They are extremely particular about what they allow you to pack your kid for lunch. My son is allergic to dairy. The school is VERY conscious of nut allergies but did not give two craps about his dairy allergy. I could not pack him virtually any basic snacks like organic vegan "cheezits", organic veggie straws, ketchup packets, etc.. They nitpicked something in his lunchbox on a weekly basis. As if having a preschooler with a food allergy isn't hard enough!! They said it was because they didn't allow foods that were processed in the same facility as nuts but 1- I sent them labels for the foods that show where it says "nut free facility" and 2- if they care so much about being nut free, why didn't they care about my sons allergy?!? Then there were the parties. At Christmas, the ONLY food my child could eat was the snack I signed up to bring. Many of the foods could have easily been made a dairy-free option. Like instead of Doritos, having regular or BBQ lays chips. But the teachers didn't care enough to put in the effort to make the Christmas party inclusive. My son attended private 3yo pre-k at a church and is now in 1st grade. Our experience in pre-k at New Odyssey was by far the worst as far as dealing with his allergies in school goes. His other teachers have been incredible. This place acted inconvenienced and I often felt singled out. Only reason I didn't leave was because nowhere else had a pre-k opening. They allow high schoolers to park in their parking lot. One of them backed into my nanny while she was waiting in the carpool line. Thankfully no kids were in the back seat!! Do you think they banned the teen from parking there?? Nope. The daycare owner didn't even seem to see what the big deal was or understand why I was so upset. She didn't even call me. It took her 2 days to call me back after I called her. It is careless and irresponsible. The other reviewer is right. Jennifer at the front desk has a bad attitude. That seems to be pretty standard among daycare front desk staff though. So, if your child has food allergies or other special needs, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. These people don't go the extra mile.

It is scary leaving your child with complete strangers, entrusting them in their care......New Odyssey understood my worries and never once did I feel like my child was a number. Miss Isabel was the first person I ever left my child with at New Odyssey and I fell in love with her care and with New Odyssey!! Tricia, Jennifer, and Cathy are amazing and have always listened and never judged me for any questions I have asked over the years. I was sad we could never do after care when my son started school, but he still loves to go to New Odyssey in the summer and any chance he can get!! They always make sure he has sunblock on in the summer and water available year round. Thank you New Odyssey for all these wonderful years and being part of my son's childhood!! Add to list Edit

For starters she hires just anyone to work here. There is an older woman with short hair that acts busy but does nothing and puts work on others than doing things herself. My children went here for the summer and will never return because most of the staff is horrible. There is one young girl that wore glasses and and she had a puff at the top of her head (Did not know her name) she was quiet, but she was so sweet with my kids, and they loved her. My kids always talk about her. The Kitchen lady has the worst attitude and my kids always complained about things they heard her saying bad things that kids should not hear. Please do some research before bringing your children here. My kids even said there was a child freely eating dirt and the older worker just let him.... SO SAD

They've had a lot of updates this past year now sending you updates and pictures of your child throughout the day in the app which gives any parent extra peace of mind. Also, they has adjusted so well to COVID restrictions and have always notified me of any changes within the facility or incidents with the kids that need to be addressed.
