Absolutely lovely experience. We can't wait to get our new windows. UPDATE: Initial quote and contract - 5/9/2024 Window install - 6/18/2024 Caps and concerns - 6/29/2024 First Bill Due (financing) - 7/25/2024 Paint - 7/8/2024 The process took roughly two months from start to finish with clear communication from Ben and Rachel. We had a few caulking and paint concerns after installation which they were quick to schedule remediation for (see above). The windows are NOT impact windows, but hurricane rated up to 140 MPH with .21 SHGC, UFactor .3, and Air Leakage .3 or less, and Low E Argon gas (i.e., energy efficient). Purchaded 6 single hung, double pane, tempered glass of various sizes for less than $8K. It was not the cheapest or most expensive quote. Liked the lifetime guarantee (free glass repair, free screen repair, free re-caulking). The 1-YR guarantee is super specific and thus hard to get i.e., includes whether the othet company has lifetime written guarantee, lendth of business, BBB rating, NARI status, etc. Overall, we are satisfied with the purchase, process, and communication. We will be excited to see how well they age. We would recommend the company based on our previous interactions with the company.

I ordered 6 impact windows from Morgan Exteriors Orlando for my Florida room. Dylan, Rottan, and…read moreNavin arrived at 8 am to install the 6 windows. They were all very friendly. They went right to work and by 12:30 pm they were done. The windows looked great. Big improvement. What I liked was that you could put your hand on the inside of a window with direct sunlight coming through it and the inside of the window was cool. Before that room would be very hot during the day. Now it is cool as a cumber. The guys did a terrific job.

My experience started in April, after finding this company from the Thermatru doors website. This…read morewas after a bad experience with another company in town. Everything was done via phone calls and emails with Ryan Oleary. I was referred to a few installers to get specific measurement. I somewhat expected Mansion Windows and Doors to take care of that; nonetheless we got the appropriate Measurements from one of the people referred to a couple weeks later. Ryan seemed patient with me as I went through the process on deciding what door design etc. All forms signed and scanned back in, check deposit sent and then a long wait. Once they received my door in the warehouse, I received an invoice for final payment, which was a lot more than my initial contract from Heather. It was an error, but I wondered why now heather was my contact.-- maybe just the process. It was corrected, I sent the remaining balance-- they were delayed in confirming receipt. So of course I reached out to them and a different person got back to me. But hey, they responded when prompted. Overall, it was a good experience, but the process could have been better. The door arrived with minimal paint chipped, but thermatru sent touch up paint, because that is expected in shipment. It was installed August 17th (4months later) by the same person initially referred to and ALL IS WELL!

They gave me a refund but no discount. They are incongruous inside the shop. The only people I liked from there were Brandon and frank my salesman. God bless them for my short temper on the phone. The installation took all day, but the end result is absolutely amazing. My wife and I highly recommend FWDS for your window and door replacements.
