We had 3 different drivers (the tour takes you to 3 different locations and off loads your group while you explore and take others that are ready to leave to their next destination). KIMI was the absolute best driver. She pointed out different things along the drive with ample time to get the camera ready. She was nice, funny and gave the best tour/drive. We made sure to let her know she was the best when we got off the bus and I herd others telling her the same thing. Hope she is compensated well for doing the most.

A great place to find out just about anything you could possible want to know about the area. Lots of cool maps, zillions of brochures about the local attractions and tourist traps and even some books with coupons for the local restaurants. The folks working here were great. Very friendly, they acted like they were actually happy to see us walk in the door. They knew everything we could possible want to know and gave us useful information and not just official propaganda. We ended up staying longer than we expected because we were having such a great time talking to them. They even have a clean bathroom and some large screen TVs with the news and weather. Just about the perfect visitor center for anyone that wants some info about New Smyrna.

A very nice visitors center for the Canaveral National Seashore. This location is easy to get to…read morebeing inside the park by about 1 mile on the right-hand side. As with any national park there is an entrance fee. The structure is a building with a parking lot to the south side that contains about 30 parking spaces. There is a small structure and a dock off the parking lot. The visitors center entrance is closes to the road. You are entering the center into a small room with a gift shop to the left, a theater to the right and displays around the room in the center. You can pick up a map that shows the park. There is a large TV with a children's game about turtle behavior on the right as you enter the door. I thought is was adorable and educational. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. I think this is a good starting point for your visit to the park
