When I moved to Chanhassen and found Dr. Mike, I started a new journey--not hard to do with a new doctor who inspires confidence and determination, one who listens and shows compassion. By the time I met Dr. Mike, a pinched nerve in my neck (which radiated to my shoulders, arms, and hands) was the most troublesome--I had an MRI in 2021 and two spinal injections the following year, neither of which lasted for more than a week. I'd worked with a physical therapist off and on in 2022-23, which eventually exacerbated the pain that would not allow me to lie down, the pain that kept me from most needed sleep. I did some research on Yelp and found Dr. Kennedy had all 5 start reviews! In addition to the wonderful things people had to say about him, I called his office for information and everything felt really good intuitively. Short version, my wife is doing WAY WAY better. Her first few visits to Dr. Kennedy I went with her and Dr. Kennedy was happy to let me come into the examining/adjusting room with my wife. At the time she was not thinking clearly and I wanted to make sure Dr.Kennedy was aware of all of her issues. In addition to his excellent adjusting skills Dr. Kennedy also uses lasers to help with a wide variety of issues. Both my wife and I have benefited from the laser treatments. After a few visits with my wife to see Dr. Kennedy, I made the choice to also become his patient. It was a difficult choice since I had been seeing my former chiropractor for over 10 years! I am VERY happy I made the switch! Dr. Kennedy takes chiropractic care to a whole new level. At different times, old injuries pop up to haunt me. I have had back pain, neck pain, rib stabbing me, shoulders out of joint, hips out of joint, knee issues and foot pain. Not all at once! This time, it was mainly numbness and tingling in my fingers and wrist, plus knee and foot issues. Research told me that the practitioner I needed had to know a procedure called ART. (Advanced Release Technique.) I didn't even know a chiropractor would do this. But through searching for someone who does ART, I found Dr. Brian. He's REALLY good at this technique, plus gives excellent adjustments. Some chiropractors have struggled to adjust me, saying I have tight muscles but loose ligaments (or vice versa) but Dr. Brian has no problem adjusting me.
