Thankfully he was able to find the part needed as we were leaving town the following week. He broke down the pricing for me over the phone so I was aware of the cost ahead of time. In my experience, this company does not adequately stand behind its workmanship despite advertising a "100% guarantee." The original repair work on my ice machine was completed in mid-August at a cost exceeding $550. Within a short period of time, the unit began experiencing additional issues. In October, when the machine stopped working, I contacted the company and scheduled a service appointment. After performing troubleshooting on my own, I was able to temporarily resolve the issue and informed the company so they would not need to make a service call. At that time, I was specifically advised not to hesitate to contact them again if the problem returned. Now, in mid-May, the ice machine has once again begun intermittently malfunctioning. When I contacted the company regarding the recurring issue, I was informed that I would be required to pay an additional $100 service fee simply for them to inspect the appliance. Based on this experience, I do not believe the company's advertised guarantee reflects the level of post-repair support actually provided to customers. I was also disappointed in the manner in which the matter was handled by management.
