Made reservations the night before for a ride to the airport early in the morning the next day. DRIVER DID NOT SHOW UP AND WOULD NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. I had to get my very ill wife out of bed to take me to the airport. Probably shouldn't have expected much from a company called Discount Trans. Do yourself a favor and just don't waste your time with this unreliable and unresponsive company. read more

Great company with great service! I was stranded for 2 hours (even after calling Yellow Cab) this past week at the FSU-Miami game. The owner Joey was in route to pick up a family who had already ordered his services! He was nice enough to pick me up as well and provided great service (even a phone charger)! The driver showed up in an unmarked car, asked me if I needed change. I said I had to pay with a debit card. He said okay then asked if I could just put gas in the car on the way. I refused and he asked for my card, read the information to someone over the phone to confirm it was "good". Then when we pulled up to the destination he said nothing until I asked if I needed to sign a receipt. He said I would get a receipt "on my phone or something". I am a young female who was taking a cab on my own for the first time so I just bailed. The charge seems about right but that was super sketchy. read more

Have made several Reservations in the past the past bus does not run on Sundays so I call Saturday night to put in a reservation and when I try to call Sunday morning because the cab never showed up nobody answers the phone. I have tried them several different times just thinking maybe it was just a bad Communications but after having this happen several times I'm convinced this company will never have it together . The dispatcher i spoke to was difficult. First she told me my taxi will get there in 15 minutes. A minute later she said it will take 30 minutes because I told her earlier I had ordered another taxi and that this other taxi was now not giving me a time estimate. She wanted to wait to make sure I wouldnt bail if the other taxi came earlier. I said wait I am trying to order a taxi with you now and you just said 15 minutes! Then she said she didnt want to argue with me and so its 30. Not A+ service. read more

This was the worst experience renting a Uhaul that I have ever had. I made the reservation online, got to the business location and even though the posted hours said open till 9pm and I got there at 645pm there was no worker present. I spent 20 minutes waiting on the teenager that was there to call someone that could process my contract. A person who was not a uhaul worker, but a cab driver for the same company that was renting the uhaul bumbled through the process while on the phone with the manager of the place and with me helping. Once this was done the printer was out of ink so I was never given an actual paper contract. I left and moved my things and had the truck back clean, swept out, and gassed. My cell phone was having issues at the time and I wasn't getting my voice mails until days later. The uhaul had my email on file but never reached out to me. Well several days later I received notification via email from my bank of an overdraft on my account. I looked into the matter and found that the uhaul had charged me for an extra day because they "couldn't find the keys" that i had put in the uhaul drop box on the front of the building. I called the manager of the business and was told that I would receive a $100.00 refund for my trouble, which I thought was a fair recompense for the nightmare of a situation. I had been to my bank several times over the course of the week and alerted them to the fraudulent charges and had to request reversals of overdraft fees due to this situation. However it was over a week later and the $100.00 had still not been refunded to my account and so I received 3 more overdraft fees in the meantime because I am a student and single parent and on a very fixed income, and the renting of the Uhaul was due to an emergency and I had dipped into what little bit of surplus I had for the month just to rent the uhaul in the first place. I text the manager with the details of this situation at length and received a text in return from the manager: "sir please contact your financial institution, a $100 refund has been issued out to you on behalf of Uhaul. Now however long that takes is totally on your bank. Please refrain from sending anymore lengthy text messages containing your personal details. Thankyou and good day sir" I of course was livid, not only because I had spent time out of my day on three separate occasions over the course of the week prior to this trying to handle this debacle but now was being blown off and treated like I was a nuisance because I was staying on top of a situation that was a nightmare from the beginning. I have worked in customer service most of my life and am trying to start a business myself once done with school. I have never in my 37 years of life received worse customer service and treated so poorly by a business. I normally do not give bad reviews and have never sat down and written out a poor review online for anyone, however I was so appalled by the shear ineptitude of how this was handled and how I was treated that I felt I should share so people would take their business elsewhere. I rented the Uhaul on April 30th, I received the double charge on May 4th, I did not get the refund until May 15th, and it was the very next day of me calling the manager not getting an answer, leaving a voicemail of how if the monies were not in my account the next day I would be pursuing legal action in small claims court. Miraculously the money was in my account the very next day. I never received a call back or an apology from anyone since. My account is still in the negative due to this because by the time the monies had hit my account I had received several overdraft fees from my bank which I am disputing. WITHOUT A DOUBT, WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER AS A CONSUMER!!!! read more
