This location is by my house. And my whole family has been here often. I went in because I needed 2 front tires. And had an appointment I stood there waiting for about 15 minutes in line before I was finally assisted. The man that was helping was not very helpful or polite. I have never had an issue here at this location--but was not impressed on this visit. A different man checked me out when tires were done and he was very pleasant. I will give them another shot--out of 13 years, first time not happy with the cs here. read more

We use discount for about 90% of our tire needs. They are consistent and I like the military discounts that are an online exclusive. The best time to buy is during big holidays, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc. But if you check around they will price match. A good location, not usually too busy. One time we had a blow out on our RV about 10 miles from our house at the start of the trip. We called to confirm their hours, put our spare on, and drove to Discount and they put the new tire on and we could continue our trip. If you do not make a reservation, like this time, it will be a few hours. If you do make a reservation, they usually take less than an hour. They always do FREE pressure checks first come first serve, quick. They are starting to push window wiper replacement, not a bad thing. They sell new lugs if needed. Always free water bottles. The pricing on the replacement plans are getting out of hand, I don't usually get the replacement plan unless I know I am going to put a lot of miles on the tires. Getting four replacement plans is like buying another tire, so I don't even bother anymore. Previously getting 4 certificates was about half the price of a tire, now they are crazy costly. read more

I've been going to discount tire since I was 16. They've always given me a great deal on tires. I've been going to this location for the past two years since I moved over here and they continue to provide great service and great pricing. I also love that they do free air for tires! We set up an appointment and paid online for four new shoes. We arrived for our appointment on a very busy day and were checked in and on our way in about 10 minutes. The tires were installed and aligned in an hour. The tires have performed excellent on an 800 mile round trip the very next day. Price was to be expected for a touring all season tire on a 2019 Suby Outback, with the replacement insurance included. Excellent service. I would recommend. read more

Went here a few times to get service done on my tires. The first time I went to get some new wheels balanced. Not only did they have to redo my balance because they put my weights in the wrong area (after specifying multiple times I did not want my weights to be visible, and after waiting two hours) they told me that they actually did not need to be balanced because they "were already zero'd out" after I installed them it was very obvious they were not balanced as my steering wheel began to shake. I returned again today to get two wheels rebalanced and some tires I already had put on them. Both tires still held air prior to getting them serviced, but after they had switched out the wheels one of the tires had a very obvious leak around the entire back side of the rim. read more

Was there today and had excellent quick service from Ian. He managed to get me in and out pretty quickly on a Saturday. I've come here for tires before and had similar good service. Clean bathroom and nice sitting area with complimentary water bottles. I don't do alot of comparison shopping when I need car stuff but I find them to be a good value. read more

I had two trucks getting tires and only one appointment made for one of the trucks. They said they would fit the other truck in but it would be done late in the day. The first truck was done within the hour and the second truck was done by 8pm. Noah the same guy working counter all day was covered in black and worked his rear off to make sure their commitment was met and it was! Tires and trucks looked great and the price was more than fair and the hard work of the staff showed that even as a big tire chain they really do care about each individual customer. Eight days later, I get another appointment and they lose my keys. that took ten minutes to figure out. Discount is the countries largest tire retailer. Went to discount tire for new tires on my ford explorer. Prices were good, staff were friendly and efficient. I had an appointment to have them installed at 1 pm. After settling the bill he said it would be about 215 when they should be done. At 135 I received a call saying they were done. I was in shock. Anyways this isn't the first discount tire I've been in. But I can say all the employees seem happy and work very hard to keep the place running. I sent my son in to get a flat repair. After taking the tire off and removing the nail they then said the tires were too old to repair even though the tread was fine. He was then told he needed all new tires. When I asked about it I was told that all they could do was put a new old tire on the car and send him on his way which I thought was acceptable. I later found out the tire they put on was a different size. The solution when I went back in was for me to purchase a new tire the right size for $160. I use these guys for all my tires and I trust them but, I was disappointed in the outcome. read more

Nope. Done with this location. I brought my car here for a tire that needed replacement. It turned out the front two tires were also needing replacement. Sales rep gave me a price and we decided it would make sense to just get all four tires replaced. I experienced a few problems during my visit. The first problem was with the misleading phone call prior to my visit. I spoke with "John" before bringing my vehicle. I was mislead into believing that this shop was not busy at the time and that a walk in would be taken care of pretty quickly. When I arrived and selected what work I wanted done, I selected all new tires on the premise that I would be out the door at a reasonable time for work. I was told there was only one guy ahead of me. Over an hour later, I'm told that several appointments were suddenly scheduled and that I would be further delayed. I had to miss work. Now my vehicle is ready. The employee shows me a lug nut with my paperwork. I don't quite understand why, but my understanding is that the car is ready and I'm free to leave. Driving down the road, away from this shop, I get a phone call saying I need to turn around and come back. Apparently, the lug was snapped from an employee cross threading the lug nut back on? If I understand that correctly? I pull up, look at the tire, sure enough, there is a lug and a lug nut missing. I go inside and have a voucher given to me to get the car fixed for "free" at Brake Masters. Brake masters couldn't get the job done until a few days later because they at least had the honesty to tell me they were busy and couldn't get to me right away. You guys actually let me drive out of your shop with damage to my vehicle that you caused? Good on you for figuring it out and calling me back, but you guys couldn't communicate amongst each other and figure it out before I had already left? To avoid wasting more of my time? I spent almost a grand on the tires, and this was my thanks? You guys have cost me a lot of time. You guys cost me earnings from missing work. You guys wasted not one, but two of my days. You guys ultimately cost me trust in your shop and possibly the brand as a whole. After this service, why should I come back? You guys hit some speed bumps in service today, because if every customer got service like I did, that building where your shop is would be a "Spirit of Halloween" in a month. read more

I definitely got scammed. I just bought a brand new used car, and they told me my tires were very bad to the point where I shouldn't drive the car. My mechanic looked over my car after I got my new tires and asked why I got brand new ones. I said that at Tire Discount they said it was bad and they said I shouldn't leave without new tires ASAP. I am girl and they definitely took advantage of me. Paid 1300 for all four tires for no reason and got scammed. My TPMS light came on in my car and I could see that the rear passenger tire was low so I put air in it on my lunch break. Later that afternoon it was low again so I decided to take it to Discount tire. I never been to one so I didn't know if I needed to make an appt or not so I just walked in. It looked busy but they were able to look at my car the same day. I waited close to an hour for my car to be ready and they showed me the part of the tire where they found a nail, they were able to patch it but the angle the nail was at was leaking a little bit after they patched it. I asked how much a new set of tires would be but couldn't afford to pay for 4 tires right now so I told them I'll just wait and see if the tire is still losing air. They didn't pressure me into buying new tires and the guy was soo nice. They parked my car in front when it was ready to go. I made an online appt (and to do this, you must pay first) I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, only to be told I had no appt. I was told I could be seen as a walkin in an hour to an hour and a hour and a half. My car sat in its original parking place for an hour and 25 minutes - till I went to inquire how much longer it would be. I was sitting very near the counters and observed many people without appts get seen and on their way, granted 3 of them were people with punctured tires. I choose Discount not because they were cheapest or even that they were closest to my house. I have used Discount for myself and my sons for the 33 years I have lived in Tucson. They appear friendly but money talks - spend more than a thousand ( easy to do) and lines don't matter, let's not forget I was sitting very near the counter) I am an old woman, clearly not their average customer and feel I was passed over in favor of the very pushy younger men spending big bucks. If they did not want my business or they were too busy, I feel I should have been guided to set an appt on another day. I have a terminal illness and will probably not live till the recommended tire rotation period , so I do not expect to darken their doors again. I feel they purposely discriminated based on age. I will encourage my sons and neighbors to stay away. Shame on you Discount tire, I am currently in agony from sitting so long and the very bad taste you have left. read more

This place is not like any other Discount Tire. The staff is extremely rude here. They talk down to you and about you. As I was standing at the counter a customer came up asking about there car and how much longer it would be. They told him not much longer and as he mentioned to them "that's what you told me an hour ago" he walked away. After this the staff turned and started saying a lot of rude things about him and laughing at him. Same thing happened to me just now. However I made a comment back to them letting them know I heard them. The three of them just turned there head and got real quiet. If I was you I'd make the drive into town go to another location. This have a great warranty program. I accidentally hit curb damaged two tires. They only charges 25 bucks per tire to replace with new tires. It was fast and they even have chargers to charge your phone while you wait. The staff could be a tad be more polite. read more

Hi John I'm extremely disappointed with your crew. I dropped off my 2009 Toyota RAV 4 at 9AM, I was great by a nice technician name Jeremiah. I advice your technician that my rear tire has leak because I need to fill the tire with air every 3 to 4 weeks. I asked for a full tire inspection and to check the TPM system. I asked Jeremiah to call my cell to report back with an update and to let me know what needed to replace. I decided to go for breakfast while Discount tire worked on my car. After an hour I did not get a phone call and their text message said my car was ready for pick up. When I pick up my vehicle the technician said you need a TPM sensor and nothing is wrong with the rear tire. Apparently they were to busy to call and let me know I need a sensor. I would have given them my approval to replace the sensor. Customer service okay and tire service way below average "rookie service at best". Come on John "service manager". Must not like Audi wheels as my other vehicles had great service and quality. Well, quality is now gone. My last wheel service they broke 3 of my lug caps and almost forgot my center cap. I had to go to the Audi dealership and pick up some caps. Oh, they didn't tell me they broke them. I discovered it when I got home, and let their manager know. So, the reason for 1-star. Just had all 4 tires replaced and they didn't break the caps, but they did gouge my wheel really bad. Luckily I inspected onsite. So disappointing since I've been using Discount for years. Discount tire probably sees most people in one of their low moments (an unexpected expense) and leaves them on a high. I have found that while I will never openly want to get new tires, that when I have am forced to, that Discount provides quick, affordable, and customer driven service. My last visit was after a blown tire on the way to work. I arrived and my heart sank because it looked very busy and I was already looking for a good place in the lobby to "office" for the day. Upon meeting the service representative, he gave me quality advice, didn't pressure me, and had me out of the building with 4 new tires in less than 2 hours. He actually down sold me from the tires I was looking at to a cheaper (but better) set that he himself put on his car. Any place that you can trust without trying to get another quote and who generally does what they can to make your experience more pleasant is awesome. In the tire business it's extra great... because where else can you go... your doughnut tire is only going to get you so far. read more

The lobby area was clean, neat and displays were well presented. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a clean restroom available to use while you wait. Arrived for my appointment, I'm on oxygen, young man had me park at door, short walk, and he took care of my car from there. Costumer service is top notch here. The two gentleman that have helped me twice within a month after having multiple flats were great. They even got me in one night even though it was close to shift change to look at the flat, which Big O tires down the road refused to help me. The second time I came back for a flat one of the gentleman called my insurance and spent a good amount of time on the phone in order to get the new tire reimbursed. That was hugely appreciated.
