I got a call about 5 minutes after I dropped it off that the tires didn't all come in and they would be giving me better tires at no charge so I wouldn't have to bring my car back. Got the assistant manager Jose, who then found every technicality he could think of not to service my vehicle, Finally tells me they can't service it due to custom wheels/tires being on the truck. Extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I dropped off my white 2023 Corvette at this location on Wednesday, October 8, because both my front right and rear right tires had nails in them. The nails were in the sidewalls, so the tires needed to be replaced. These are run-flat tires, not common sizes, but the staff assured me they were ordered and would arrive by Friday so the replacements could be installed Saturday. When I stopped by on Monday, October 13, to check on my car and pick it up, I was shocked to learn that no one had ever even created a work order for it. My car had been sitting outside in the parking lot for nearly five days untouched. The employee confirmed the tires had already been delivered and were sitting in the shop, ready to go -- but because someone failed to enter the order, nothing had been done. Even worse, no one from the store ever contacted me -- not once. The only reason I received a text at all was because I showed up in person to ask about my car. After realizing the mistake, an employee texted me later that day to create a ticket -- five days after drop-off and only after I came in and discovered the issue myself. That's not proactive communication; that's damage control. I've been a loyal Discount Tire customer for over 20 years, and this is the first time I've experienced such poor service and complete lack of accountability. I own a business myself, so I understand mistakes can happen, but this wasn't a simple error -- it was a total failure in communication and process. If I didn't have another vehicle, I would have been stranded for almost a week because no one followed up. Your customers rely on you for timely, professional service -- not to have their vehicles forgotten in the parking lot. I took the tire to the Midland location and after telling them the story Jonah, good dude, replaced it for free. I can't say enough about the service. Scheduled an 11:30 am appointment for a rotation and balance. There is at least a twenty minute line to see a service person, so why isn't there a way to check in those who SCHEDULE service??? I really like DT, but there is a disconnect between online service scheduling and receiving that service. DT does a lot of business, this location is nearest my home. I'll never again visit the Loop 250 location due to crappy customer service (years ago, but...). I've been waiting thirteen minutes, and this is nearly as bad as a physicians office. I went in for a replacement on a tire that had a hole back tire passenger side back on January 8th 2026 I was helped with a gentleman named Bryan who Helped me on the register to sign in and pay he was polite and did a kind gesture without me knowing I thought I was only paying for that one tire until another gentleman from the mechanic side came in and told me about the assessment they did on my car . He starts explaining to me detail for detail which I then kinda interrupted him talking and asked about what he was talking about and I told him I only came in for one tire he ends up showing me the receipt, which then shows me that I for four tires all brand new for the price of one and a free alignment . Walked in 10 minutes like email requested. Saw 6 people in front and was told that I gad an appointment, which I already was aware of. Like an appointment means something when I kept seeing other vehicles getting driven into the service stalls before mine. My car was driven I to the stall at 9:35 am, the time service was supposed to be finished. Then I was told it would be another 20 minutes. This is very bad customer service. I should have been given the opportunity to either stay and wait over an hour or reschedule. read more

I have had numerous tire repairs and would normally say the Discount does a remarkable job but on my last service they scratched my black wheels horribly during a repair of a screw in my tire. I drive a vehicle with expensive upgraded wheels, so if you don't mind your property being damaged then take your vehicle here. read more

We live in Midland and the roads here have the worst nails, debris, etc which cause flat tires. My tires were new and the left rear tire had a key stuck in it. Caleb replaced the tire. My husband and I have spent quite a bit of money at this location but NEVER again. The management here bullies the employees they apparently don't like by calling them retarted, asking is they are F@&$ing stupid, do you have a speech impediment....the list goes on. We have 3 vehicles and all 3 have tires purchased from this location and 1 has new wheels. Last time my husband was there they scratched his wheels and a couple of weeks later the lug nut fell off. The new wheels on one of our cars, the center cap fell off (who knows where) and they are less than a year old. I'm completely disgusted with who they have running this place. Very speedy and good service. I dropped off my car in need of 4 tires and it was ready in an hour. My only complaint is the absolute insane pricing - I don't know if I blame Discount Tire or location because of being in Midland. But 4 tires for an SUV should NEVER come up to $1000. Other than price, the staff was very friendly and ready to help and I would recommend this tire shop, however do try to price check other stores first! They are very slow. They want you to scan in with your cell phone. Sorry not everyone has that capability. Discount tire in Midland is always so damn slow. I usually take my business to other towns because you can get things done there quicker. Discount needs to do something about the 3 stores they have here.
