They were awesome! I so rarely experience a service business that exceeds expectations and this place really did that! I needed a front end alignment and they quoted me one of the lowest prices in the area as I called around to several different places. Santino was very helpful and told me that they weren't taking reservations for alignments Saturday morning but if I came in when they opened I should be able to get the service right away. He was right and they did it in under an hour. He also said that they will match any price for new tires. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

If you want to be over charged for service this is the place. If you don't buy tires here the rake you over the coals. I wanted winter tires put on my car and it cost $250. This is only the service charge. No tire was purchased. My 21 yo daughter went in with the car and usually it costs $25 a tire. They brought the car in the back and they pressured her into new lug nuts and over charged her for install. Never mind that they don't install the tire correctly. The red dot is to be lined up with the valve stem This new shop has the cashier doing the tire changes and is not qualified to even change tire correctly. It doesn't take a genius to line these up. I think they just don't care to or don't know how to. I called them and this is apparently the way they do business. Recap. Not sure why they respond with a letter of concern? Brand new Discount Tire facility in Gurnee. We needed air in all our tires since it was -6 degrees. There was a line of four cars in front of us, but the Free Service to fill air in your tires went pretty quick. Alex filled our tires and was very polite and courteous. He let us know our tread depth and offered new windshield wipers for purchase. There are many tire places out there, we choose Discount Tire as our preferred tire retailer for the great service we receive everyday.
