REAL NEWS The Discount Tire team on Altamesa Blvd., led by Denzel, provided unparalleled customer service from the moment I walked through the door until the moment I left. The installation team, Orien and Hervert, took exceptional care to ensure my wheels were handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. They brought several wheel anomalies to my attention, thanks to our infamous Texas potholes, and assured me they would compensate for them during the balancing process. They delivered exactly as promised. All four of my Porsche wheels and tires were mounted and balanced to perfection. I could not be happier with the service provided by the entire team. This is a well-run operation where employees treat one another with respect, communicate effectively, and work tirelessly to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Discount Tire - 265/40/R21 front & 295/25/R21 rear - Tires Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Very frustrating experience with Discount Tire. I took the time to make an appointment because I was simply coming in to have a nail removed from my tire. I scheduled an appointment specifically so I would not have to spend hours waiting. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was told the wait could still be approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. At that point, I have to question the purpose of making an appointment. I completely understand that unexpected delays happen and businesses sometimes get behind. However, if you are running nearly TWO HOURS behind on scheduled appointments, customers should receive a courtesy call or text BEFORE they arrive. Give us the opportunity to reschedule instead of allowing us to drive to the location, check in for an appointment, and only then find out that the scheduled time cannot be honored. People make appointments because their time matters. We arrange our workdays, errands, and other responsibilities around the time we are given. I wasn't requesting extensive repairs--I needed a nail removed from one tire. This isn't just about the wait; it's about communication and respecting your customers' time. If you're unable to honor scheduled appointments within a reasonable timeframe, please communicate that before the customer arrives. A simple phone call or text would have made a huge difference in this experience. read more

Fast polite service, no pressure to buy the most expensive model. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Even better than other Discount Tire locations that I've been to. read more

Very friendly staff, came in with a walk in tire 10 minutes early to the appointment and they took care of it before the appointment time. For context, I blew my tire on a first date with my date in the car on our way to the dinner location. She wanted a keepsake from that night so I asked Jason, one of the guys up front, if all be it cheesy - he would rip a piece off for me to keep. He did it with a smile, thanks y'all!! read more

On Thursday I discovered a nail in the driver's side rear tire. The joys of life, right?! Without hesitation, I drove to the Discount Tire on Altamesa. This is my place for tire service; in fact, I drive by numerous other tire places in order to get here. Those others don't even come close to what Discount Tire offers. The employee who waited on me was very professional and friendly. Upon asking for a patch/plug on the tire, he didn't try to upsell or push me toward products and services I didn't need or want. To my pleasant surprise, the overall time of wait was an hour, which is exactly what the employee said it would be. Wow! In the end, there was no out-of-pocket expense as Discount Tire performs this service for free. What a great way to keep a customer! Don't waste your time with other tire places. These guys know what they're doing. Head straight to your nearest Discount Tire location. read more

Needed to get tires. Roger was awesome! He pointed something out that was obvious after he did but to the lay dude we'd miss it! Roger was polite, helpful and just plain awesome! He explained price breakdown so I knew cost 100% of the time. Roger needs a raise for service he gives! While waiting for my tires, I went to El Corral Sport Bar across the lot. Definitely check that out while waiting. read more

Best experience I've ever had at a tire store in my 30 plus years of driving! I was heading to Ft Worth from Granbury when I noticed I had a tire with a bad crack near the rim due to dry rot. Called the store to confirm they had my size tires in stock and if they had availability, which was a go on both. Once I showed up, they got me in immediately as promised and had all 4 tires replaced and had me back on the road about 30 minutes later. Everyone i encountered was super friendly, and tire pricing and quality was also great. Thanks yall! read more

On the evening of Tuesday, January 16, 2024, I arrived to request my tires to have air put in them due to the extreme temperatures we are currently experiencing. To my surprise, Eric, the assistant managed refused to provide me service. Eric was addressed by the manager, David, who also politely asked him to service my vehicle and he still refused. As a customer for well over a decade and purchasing tires for not only myself, but also my children, I was left not only angry; but also hurt. It is saddening to know that despite being a loyal customer and spending thousands of dollars (as recent as 12/30/23), I would still be treated in such a manner. Despite my efforts to address the issues, the resolution provided was inadequate, and I felt unheard throughout the process. As a loyal customer, this experience has left me questioning the quality of service your company strives to deliver. As long as Eric is a face of your company, I will strive to ensure that customers are aware of the treatment they are likely to receive. While we are here, I do want to applaud David for his customer service, as he was apologetic and ultimately aired my tires up. read more

Some of the best Customer Service I have had at any place of service! I was expecting to go in and spend quite a bit of money on a tire and was able to patch my tire for free! They also filled my other tires, put my spare back in place, and made sure that my car was ready to go for me. Above and beyond service! read more

Had a blowout with my tire and needed a new one. I first called and spoke with Chris on the phone and he was very pleasant and answered what I needed. I had an appointment, I arrived early and they helped me. Dakota was very helpful as well when I needed an additional item that was found during inspection. Overall a great experience will definitely be back in the future when the time arises that I need something. read more

Called ahead to check if they're busy.. Someone answered on first call (which is rare for most places nowadays) and they were very helpful. They aren't appointment only and do take walk ins, but it's always good to call ahead to see if they're busy. Only waited about 15 minutes and they were able to take my car in and get a flat replaced very quickly after that. I had the warranty for 50k miles and they pulled it up with just my phone number. Definitely recommend going with the warranty if you're buying from Discount Tire. Very happy with visit to this specific location and surprised by the kindness and service by the guys who helped me and the techs who changed the tire. read more

Started off my Saturday off with a flat tire and associated bad mood. Came in at 9 am and was helped by Denzel. You know those kind of people that seem to be positive no matter what the circumstances. Denzel is that kind of person. He really helped turn my bad day to a good day. At this Discount Tire location, I commend the reasonable prices and quality work, but their scheduling is overly optimistic.

I have gotten my tires here for years now and I love that they will check the air pressure in your tires for free. You can now make an appointment which helps with the wait time read more

This is the second time and LAST time I will be coming here. Yesterday I visited this place because I had a nail in my tire and on top of that a slow leak. They claimed to have fixed both problems, but after I left to pick up my kid from school my tire was completely flat! I returned to this place and told them what had happened, they were nice about it and gave me a different tire for my troubles, but the next morning my front tire was flat!! I examined the tire and realized it was the same tire they claimed to have "replaced". I am now currently changing this second flat tire. I don't know if this is how they get business, but I'm definitely never going back here again. read more

I really hate to give this place a crappy review, but I'm afraid I will have to. I had excellent service from one of the salesmen. We had small talk and he informed me that my tire couldn't be patched, so it has to be replaced. I anticipated this, so I waited in my seat while they gave me further instruction. I was greeted by another salesman who told me that the closest tire to mine that they had in stock was going to cost me $213 with labor. I found out AFTER I left that they had other options which was not presented to me. I was taken advantage of because I was female, and he knew that withholding info from me would get me to pay for an expensive tire. Screw this place. Tip: Do your research before hand about your tires and different options. read more

We've been coming here for years but EVERY TIME we come in for "Free Tire Rotation" emailed to us, they consistently try to "upsell" you new tires, wheels, wiper blades, etc. (Likely Co. training.) The lady in front of us who was buying a new tire pressure sensor for $64, two new WHEELS for her Cadillac ($800 she declined)! By far, the rudest, most belligerent and argumentative salesman we have encountered there is "Jake". When we mentioned writing a review mentioning him, his arrogant reply: "That's ok I have millions of good online reviews." Funny thing--we haven't found them. He has probably convinced us, to get our tires at Costco from now on. read more

I will never go to firestone again! They had my tires on the wrong side not only that, they didn't balance my tires. Dustin and his team at Discount took great care of me today. As a total newbie to the Fort Worth area and just recently bought a car I didn't think I'd need to find a tire place as soon as I did. I drove over a screw and got slow puncture. Dropped into these guys and was super impressed with their service and promptness. They checked out all my tires, the air pressure and repaired the slow puncture, wait for it... all for FREE! I'd have no hesitate in using these guys again and buying my tires from them. It's not often you get things for free, especially something as important at this. read more

Discount Tire stores have always been on point in my experience and this one has been no different. Workers keep it professional, they hustle, and the waiting area is clean for an automotive type of shop. I have never had a problem with getting tire service done right on the first attempt at a discount tire which is a big deal in terms of my time spent and also important when you consider that tires/wheels are such a critical safety element on a car. read more

Took my car in because my low tire indicator light was on. Chris took excellent care of me. He spent time checking all of my tires plus took the extra time to check my spare. First time visit at this location. I have been going to discount tire for as long as I can remember. Always good service, & helpful advice. Went in with 2 tires that wouldn't hold air, and they repaired the tires, & now they work. BUT.... Now my parking brake doesn't work. I need my parking brake because my driveway is on a steep incline. It has ALWAYS worked properly, I use it EVERY day. Now after going to this location it no longer functions. I called this morning and asked if possibly they could've unhooked something & maybe didn't put it back?? I was told no, they would only remove lug nuts, repair the tires & put them back on. They were sorry I was having this issue, & they hope I get it figured out. I just find it extremely odd, that it doesn't work after going to their shop. I would not recommend this discount tire & I will never go to this location again. read more
