I really enjoyed my transaction with Mullican doors. I own an investment property in Del City,…read moreOklahoma that needed a new garage door. I used Yelp to get quotes and Mullican not only beat everyone in price but was very transparent, not pushy, and very easy to interact with. I chose them as the vendor and had my property manager reach out to them. My property manager has a very specific way of paying vendors and Mullican doors was accommodating to that process. They completed the work as promised and did a great job. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to replace a garage door in Oklahoma. Thanks guys!

1 STAR I would…read morestrongly recommend avoiding A-1 Garage Door Service altogether. My experience left me feeling like the priority was maximizing the sale rather than finding the best solution for me as the customer. It started with a service call after my garage door was damaged. A-1 charged me over $400 just to lower my damaged garage door, a job that took less than 15 minutes. That alone seemed extremely expensive for what was actually done. Then came the replacement quote. A-1 quoted me roughly $10,600 for a garage door replacement. After discounts and accounting for the more than $400 I had already paid them, I was still looking at approximately $9,700 financed for 15 YEARS at 12.99% interest. What bothered me even more was what happened with the financing. Once A-1 saw how much I was approved for, the two options they presented to me felt like the two best options for THEM -- not for me. For some additional perspective, I've included a photo of my home and garage with this review. As you can see, there is nothing extravagant or unusually elaborate about this garage door. It's a standard two-car residential garage door. Thankfully, I decided to shop around and contacted Precision Garage Door. Precision offered me a very similar-quality garage door for only $3,705 after my military discount, with 0% financing for 2 years. Let that comparison sink in: A-1: approximately $9,700 financed for 15 YEARS at 12.99%. Precision: $3,705 financed for 2 YEARS at 0%. Look at the picture and decide for yourself whether this looks like a garage door that should leave someone paying on it for the next 15 years. I understand businesses need to make money. I have absolutely no problem paying a fair price for quality products and professional work. But the difference between these two prices and my experiences with these companies is absolutely staggering. Originally, I would have said to make sure you get a second quote before accepting A-1's price. After seeing just how massive the difference was, I'll go further: Don't even bother getting a quote from A-1. In my experience, they'll bleed your bank account dry if you let them. Getting another quote potentially saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars and kept me from being tied to a garage door loan for the next 15 years. If you're looking for a garage door, I recommend calling Precision Garage Door instead. Based on my experience, it isn't even close.

I rarely write reviews at all, but I felt compelled to write one for Summit Garage doors. I…read morerecently had the cables on my garage door come undone at one of my rental properties. I called and was able to schedule service within 24 hours. They identified that the cable issues resulted directly from a spring replacement job done poorly a few months prior (Different garage repair company). The previous company had also left other parts of the job incomplete. Summit was able to offer a low-cost solution for repairing it. After beginning on repairs, another issue was discovered that would require more significant repairs. Summit offered to fix it up to the point where it could potentially last for years to come (although no guarantee) for no charge at all. This company cares about helping people first and foremost. Most companies would only propose options in which charging for repairs is necessary, even when simpler/cheaper fixes are available. The customer service I experienced was world class, and I would encourage anyone with issues reach out to this company!

Matt Hanks, the owner of Summit Garage Doors, installed springs on my garage door over three years ago. Recently, the springs broke, so I contacted one of the large commercial firms to obtain a quote. Their estimate for replacing the two springs was $1,600. I then called Matt, who came to assess my situation. Although the springs were out of the standard warranty period, Matt believed they had broken prematurely. He replaced both springs at no cost to me and even declined to accept a tip. I asked him how much he would have charged me if this had been a first-time service call, and he informed me it would have been about $400. The difference between Summit Garage Doors and the competition is that Matt operates from his home, while competitors drive trucks adorned with graphics and provide their employees with uniforms. As a result, Matt's operating costs are significantly lower. I highly recommend giving him a call for any garage door needs. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere…read more I've been a repeat customer for years and was seriously considering spending $4,000 on a new garage door with this company. Thankfully, I saw how they operate before moving forward. I asked for pricing upfront before scheduling help to connect my WiFi. They did not disclose the cost. After the visit, I was charged $99 for what amounted to pressing a button--something that took seconds and required no real service. Charging customers without clearly disclosing pricing beforehand is unacceptable. It feels misleading and shows a lack of transparency. This experience completely broke my trust. If this is how they handle a simple service call, I have no confidence in how they would handle larger, more expensive work. I will not be using them again, and I would caution others to get clear, written pricing before agreeing to any service.
