I rarely write reviews at all, but I felt compelled to write one for Summit Garage doors. I…read morerecently had the cables on my garage door come undone at one of my rental properties. I called and was able to schedule service within 24 hours. They identified that the cable issues resulted directly from a spring replacement job done poorly a few months prior (Different garage repair company). The previous company had also left other parts of the job incomplete. Summit was able to offer a low-cost solution for repairing it. After beginning on repairs, another issue was discovered that would require more significant repairs. Summit offered to fix it up to the point where it could potentially last for years to come (although no guarantee) for no charge at all. This company cares about helping people first and foremost. Most companies would only propose options in which charging for repairs is necessary, even when simpler/cheaper fixes are available. The customer service I experienced was world class, and I would encourage anyone with issues reach out to this company!

I have written a few negative reviews for products and services I have received, but this is a…read morepositive review for the best service I have ever experienced. Matt Hanks, the owner of Summit Garage Doors, installed springs on my garage door over three years ago. Recently, the springs broke, so I contacted one of the large commercial firms to obtain a quote. Their estimate for replacing the two springs was $1,600. I then called Matt, who came to assess my situation. Although the springs were out of the standard warranty period, Matt believed they had broken prematurely. He replaced both springs at no cost to me and even declined to accept a tip. I asked him how much he would have charged me if this had been a first-time service call, and he informed me it would have been about $400. The difference between Summit Garage Doors and the competition is that Matt operates from his home, while competitors drive trucks adorned with graphics and provide their employees with uniforms. As a result, Matt's operating costs are significantly lower. I highly recommend giving him a call for any garage door needs. We are getting ready to sell our house, so we needed several relatively small tasks taken care of,…read moreincluding painting, toilet work, and some electrical issues. Instead of calling around and getting comps for each specialty, I decided on hiring a handyman who could (hopefully) do it all. I found Ethon via Yelp after he responded to my quote request in less than 15 minutes. I called him right away and he offered to do a walkthrough the next day in order to get me a quote ASAP. When he arrived at the house, he was professional, polite, and friendly, like a brother who happens to know his way around the house. No more than 48 hours went by before he messaged me his quote. It took a couple of visits before he completed all of the jobs we negotiated due to the electrical issue that needed some serious troubleshooting, but Ethon was happy to come back until the job was completed to his liking. We love the results. Overall, this was an extremely positive experience. Not only was the paint professional and our lighting fixed, but I feel like we also made a friend out of this. Ethon is all about customer service without making you feel like a customer.

When Taylor was 20-30 minutes from getting to us, he called me at 5 after 5 to let me know. I appreciate the promptness in the phone call. Upon arrival my husband, Taylor and I got to talking about our garage door needs. Initially we brought Jolly Goat out for the possibility of maintenance for the current door we have. After assessment we asked for an estimate for repair and new door. After hearing the cost for repair to the current door, it was decided we will be getting a new door instead. I appreciate the time for them making the drive out at our request. At the end of the appointment, Taylor got the final quote and other documentation sent to my email and measurements completed, so they could get the door ordered as soon as possible. With spring comes spring cleaning and we are looking forward to getting this new door, as the old one is dented, rusted, springs busted,etc... If you are looking to start spring cleaning and your garage door has more creaks than two 48 year old men getting off the couch, give Jolly Goat a call today, it will be the best decision you make for your garage door's health.

Shopping around for a new garage door opener can be a nightmare. I called dozens of companies to…read moreget quotes and it seemed that most of them wanted to push an expensive unit that was more than I needed. Oklahoma City Garage Door Pros took the time to actually listen to what I needed and came up with very reasonably priced solution. They were able to work me in same day which was fantastic. The texts that tell you when a tech is on the way is a great touch too, especially if you are working. They were exactly on time which is rare for any home service provider. My tech Chad was knowledgeable and explained how all of it worked and pointed out a few maintenance items, but he didn't come across like he was just trying to make a sale. They went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the range on my remotes. They went as far as upgrading the board on the opener and the garage door remotes free of charge so they worked at a longer range due to interference issues I was having. I will defiantly call them when I need future work done on my garage door.

I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere…read more I've been a repeat customer for years and was seriously considering spending $4,000 on a new garage door with this company. Thankfully, I saw how they operate before moving forward. I asked for pricing upfront before scheduling help to connect my WiFi. They did not disclose the cost. After the visit, I was charged $99 for what amounted to pressing a button--something that took seconds and required no real service. Charging customers without clearly disclosing pricing beforehand is unacceptable. It feels misleading and shows a lack of transparency. This experience completely broke my trust. If this is how they handle a simple service call, I have no confidence in how they would handle larger, more expensive work. I will not be using them again, and I would caution others to get clear, written pricing before agreeing to any service.
