I rarely write reviews at all, but I felt compelled to write one for Summit Garage doors. I…read morerecently had the cables on my garage door come undone at one of my rental properties. I called and was able to schedule service within 24 hours. They identified that the cable issues resulted directly from a spring replacement job done poorly a few months prior (Different garage repair company). The previous company had also left other parts of the job incomplete. Summit was able to offer a low-cost solution for repairing it. After beginning on repairs, another issue was discovered that would require more significant repairs. Summit offered to fix it up to the point where it could potentially last for years to come (although no guarantee) for no charge at all. This company cares about helping people first and foremost. Most companies would only propose options in which charging for repairs is necessary, even when simpler/cheaper fixes are available. The customer service I experienced was world class, and I would encourage anyone with issues reach out to this company!

Matt Hanks, the owner of Summit Garage Doors, installed springs on my garage door over three years ago. Recently, the springs broke, so I contacted one of the large commercial firms to obtain a quote. Their estimate for replacing the two springs was $1,600. I then called Matt, who came to assess my situation. Although the springs were out of the standard warranty period, Matt believed they had broken prematurely. He replaced both springs at no cost to me and even declined to accept a tip. I asked him how much he would have charged me if this had been a first-time service call, and he informed me it would have been about $400. The difference between Summit Garage Doors and the competition is that Matt operates from his home, while competitors drive trucks adorned with graphics and provide their employees with uniforms. As a result, Matt's operating costs are significantly lower. I highly recommend giving him a call for any garage door needs. I have a 2018 Tacoma,my first new vehicle for me since 1975, so you know I won't trust it to anyone, he'll be changing the spark plugs, transmission service and differentials front and back. A 2017 outback, of my wife's. She's picky, Jayson did all the fluids, belts and spark plugs. She's picky but very pleased. My granddaughter has a 2005 accord hybrid, we changed the brakes,rotors, calipers and hoses ourselves. The right front brake was making a noise, Jayson to the rescue. Fixed it easily with a different brand of pads. No noise since. My daughter's 2018 Malibu burnt the AC up. Jayson changed it, and some more maintenance items that had been neglected. Car runs fantastic now, mileage is back where it needs to be and we got councilled on appropriate mileage for maintenance.
