The new person came to my house measured my windows then came a 4-5 weeks later am installer came and I had to work so my dad was at my house when the shutters were installed and over hung my window sill by a lot they looked terrible. So I call to say they looked terrible and ask for something different. I asked the owner several times to come out so I can explain what I mean because the pictures were hard to see. He never came I had an appointment sch but I was supposed to snow so he cancele. He comes back with new frames which thankfully worked but didn't caulk any of the nail holes. I have had shutters before and I personally think he miss measured because the shutter part is longer that my whole window frame. I think the shutters themselves are cheap. Just do your research before purchasing because they cost a lot of money to be unhappy.

That was all we knew about shutters at that point. Keith was very in depth sharing his knowledge, background, and even going as far as talking about what I should expect from competitors in the area. They're the only independent guy left, American made, faster turn around even though it was shutter season when we were getting the quote (didn't know there was such a thing!) He was very precise and wasn't afraid to share his thoughts on what would look good in the house. Luckily, we thought alike so everything he recommended was exactly what I was looking for. Communication was amazing too! Erin was a delight from the first phone call setting up the first meeting at the house, updates for scheduling installation, payment, and even getting a quote WITHIN THE HOUR AFTER KEITH CAME TO THE HOUSE?? UNHEARD OF. BRAVO. Very outstanding company. There was a hiccup in the factory but they got everything fixed in a timely manner. I really appreciated the day they came back it was raining so they brought in a ton of runners so they wouldn't track water or dirt into the house. They wiped everything down and vacuumed! The team that came out was so nice, the turn around was faster than expected. My fiancé and I are so happy with their work and love that it's increased the value of our home. Every time we walk into the house or are just relaxing, I admittedly will just scream out I LOVE OUR HOUSE! I would also like to mention that I did get another bid from their competitor who 1. took longer 2. didn't give much education after I had said I had never owned shutters before 3. tracked dirt around the house with their shoes on 4. and the quote I received was $4000 MORE THAN THE SHUTTER GUY and LONGER turn around time!! And on top of it all--they are dependable, communicative, and easy to get along with. We desired a simple, modern shade solution for a sliding door window on the third floor of our condo--for a room that is drenched in afternoon sun. We wanted to kill the heat, but still let some light in. I met with Scott Segall, the owner/designer/manager, at their shop and we went over options and samples. We decided on a commercial screen roller shade with 3% openness. Scott recommended commercial over residential because of our taste for simplicity, disinterest in the options supplied by residential, and the fact we could save significantly without sacrificing any quality. A win-win! Scott explained that we could do the install ourselves, but for Victor to do the install (which included measuring) would only cost 10% more. It seemed more than worth it to us. Scott set up a measuring appointment and clearly explained the schedule from manufacture to install. The shades were made to order and currently, because of Covid, Scott explained, it could take from 4 to 6 weeks from the time the shades were ordered for them to appear at their shop. Then, an install appointment would be scheduled which would finish up the job roughly a week later. Although we were disappointed at how much time things might take, we so much appreciated Scott's transparency and his refusal to promise something he could not guarantee. The shade ending up arriving on the early side of Scott's estimate and, as promised, it was installed around a week later. Not over yet. . . here's the best part. . . There was a hiccup with the install that Victor Shade went the extra mile to solve for us. We were missing endcaps for the brackets we had been promised--that would cover them and give them a more finished look. This is the kind of thing, that depending on the company, can never get solved. Nope! Scott responded immediately to our concerns and remembered we had discussed this issue. He investigated with the manufacturer and found out that the only solution was to use another kind of roller cover that would allow the proper endcap covers. With no fuss, the manufacturer (and Scott) created these at no extra cost to ourselves--and reinstalled. Wow!! A textbook example of top-drawer customer service. We are so grateful and love our shade!
