My daughter's car was vandalized last night, and it looked as if a bb was shot at her window. It was on the verge of shattering when she saw it this morning. I messaged and called a few places before finding this place on Yelp, and I'm so thankful I did! I called, around 2 pm, and the man who answered said to come right in before 3 pm. My daughter drove her car there, and since I was at work, she was adulting all by her self! She said the workers were so nice to her and a fellow customer, and one of the employees bought her bottled water. They managed to get the window for her car and charged her less than $200. I went straight there after work to check on her, and they were finished, so they finished her window in about an hour and a half. I appreciate how they took care of my daughter and her window. My daughter works part-time, attends SJVC twice a week (full days), and interns at Mercy SW (8 hours) every Saturday and Sunday (which she had to miss today because of this inconvenience), so to get this taken care of with ease, I am so grateful, thank you! read more

Quick, fairly priced and great work. I called on a Sunday at 8:30 to see if they had a window available for install. They had the window available and told me they'd open at 9am. I showed up at 9:05 and they took my vehicle right away and had me out of there by 9:40. They even said they would've been quicker if it wasn't so cold. Prices are fair, and I suggest cash over card because it's cheaper that way. I'm definitely satisfied with the work done and will return if I ever need another window replaced. read more

Called for glass replacement owner said he could complete the job today. The price was much cheaper than Safelite (via those online schedule) and much quicker than Safelite (not available for 3 more days). I was glad to come in and be checked in quickly. He double checked the windshield didn't have any special features nor need any special sensors. Pulled the car in and offered for me to sit in the office and watch a movie. They office has decent couches and chairs, water dispenser, and sodas for purchase. So far so good. read more

Yesterday while picking up my son from school someone completely shattered my passenger side window of my 2008 Ford Edge. I was completely flustered by the time I had gotten on the phone with Moshi (I had to make arrangements for someone to come pick my son up as there was shards of glass everywhere and it was a safety issue to have him in my car, had to cancel all my cards and credit cards, called BPD to file a police report, and so on..) my mom had told me she had called a few places and the best price she could find for just the passenger window was 280.... I talked to Moshi he told me 100$ for my passenger window... Awesome! I also told him I had a cracked windshield ( from a rock hitting it awhile back-but when in Rome right?!) he told me "come! I'll take care of you" He did indeed. He handled my nerves very well from the whole situation and I drove out of there an hour and a half later spending 300$ total for passenger side and completely new windshield and a very well vacuumed car. So there I was...waking up on New Years Eve, ready to head out for work...when I come out to find the latest car issue, a cracked windshield. Imagine my surprise, as there was no crack when I had parked it the night before. Upon inspection, there was ni chip at either end or anywhere near the crack. Yet nonetheless... it was all the way across so it needed replacing. Do on my break, I took to Yelp and narrowed it down to W locations in my area. As it being a semi holiday, hours were shortened. So one of them was a no go. The 2nd location only had one review, but I called anyway. Not only were they open late enough that I could make it, they had a windshield in stock. Trust me...finding anything in stock, for this car, is a hair short of a miracle. So off I went after work. As it turns out, I had actually bern to this place before, when I first moved here... But I regress. They had my windshield done in no time at all. The cost was less than my deductible. And off I went, before you know it. I am extremely satisfied with how smooth this went. Trust me, my experiences with anything automotive out here, has been rocky. So when something actually goes right... I must share about it. read more

Due to a bonehead move on my part, I ended up with a broken window in my old jeep on a holiday weekend. I called all the big name places in town and they were either or not open or super expensive. Discount auto glass had a few good reviews on Google but nothing to speak of on yelp, but I was really glad I gave them a call. Not only was their quote less than half of what the other guys were going to charge, they were able to get me in right away, on a Saturday no less! An hour later I drove off with a factory replacement window (most likely used but I can't see a difference) and a wallet that I thought was going to be much lighter. A few nights ago, when it rained, I was leaving the CSUB parking lot after class. As I drove off, I rolled down my driver's side window, to be able to see since it was 9:30pm. It went down and then I heard a CRUNCH. Sounded like glass broke! I tried rolling it up and it stopped after a few seconds. Here I was driving and at every red light I tried pulling up my window with one hand and holding the "up" button for the power window, but it barely moved. I got home thinking my hubby could help bc he is strong but guess what??? It didn't work! Well, he was able to raise it a little more than me but it got stuck. Then he pushed the button for the window to roll down and down it went while I shouted NOOOOOOO!!! because now, it was even lower and stuck. We had to tape a trash bag around the door, pray that rain wouldn't enter, and hope no one attempted to hot wire my Chevy Trailblazer through the night. Long story short, I Googled "driver side window repair bakersfield" and this shop was the first I visited. I also visited Safelite but their website said nothing about repairing broken power windows. My husband called around and the lowest quote he got was $160. Then I called this place, spoke with Moshi who was VERY friendly and helpful, who quoted me $130!!! So we went with him. The shop has big Green signs and is on the corner of Wilson & S. Union. You can't miss it. Moshi is the owner who has had that business for 15+ years. He is from Iraq and is a Christian/Catholic (there are portraits/paintings/scriptures of Jesus everywhere lol). He fixed my window in an hour (probably less but I showed up later), stayed true to his quote of $130, accepted credit cards, and gave me some baklava from Lebanon! He always had a smile on his face and was so accommodating. Even told us that if we needed ANYTHING else with car repairs, to let him know because he knows who can do what in Bakersfield. I recommend him 100%!! Oh the glass didn't break, my power window mechanism did. Works better than before! read more

The owner gave me one price over the phone and when we went in to have to windshield done he charged me almost double what he originally quoted me over the phone! I told him I had a Denali with a sensor and when I got there he doubles the price! save your money and go somewhere else the customer service here is terribly and they will bait and switch you once they take the glass off!
