We took Über about a dozen times and found it to be an easier way to get around, instead of the light rail trams which parallel the channels. We were here with another couple and we mostly had Mercedes-Benz Rs The drivers were all very friendly and knowledgeable about their city. Most spoke English and some French or German. But it really wasn't necessary, since Über had already plotted the route. Our wait times were usually ten minutes or so. Everything was door to door and first class.

The driver came 10 minutes early, carried our bags and brought us to the airport safely. The car was clean, roomy for 2-3 adults. I find that their price is comparable to other taxi company. I chose this Taxi Electric because they have newer fleet of cars. Highly recommend!

Finally a taxi service that allows me to pay by pin or credit card. I hate that feeling of wondering do I have a enough cash on me or telling the taxi service to stop by a ATM. I told Dutchman that I have officially decided to boycott TCA services, due to bad services or over charging me. I was so happy to come across Taxihunter, so I don't have to deal with these shisty taxi companies.

De Pijp is located on the light blue line (Line 52) of the Amsterdam Metro, the station opened in…read more2018 and still feels fairly new. It is only on one line, but the Amsterdam Metro is quick and small, so it shouldn't be too much of a bother changing lines or travelling within the city. It's easy to get in and out of the station through the escalators from the platform to street level, despite being the deepest metro station on the network, you wouldn't realise that! Upon leaving the station, there is the De Pijp neighbourhood with various businesses, including a Joe and the Juice, pretty much right outside. There's also a tram stop outside where you can continue your journey around the city. 4* - It's clean and modern and provides connections to the tram network too, allowing easy access to points around the city.
