Hounce houses, photo opportunities, pumpkin patch, pig races, hayrides and more! The kids and us had a blast. With the overwhelming amount of people that came, it never felt so crowded that you could not participate in what you wanted. Some lines, but not always. It was pretty well organized too. Props to the staff on that! The day was beautiful,and we got through everything we wanted to in the 3 hours we were there!

I would do it again next year. Its a driving experience. They had a sign of a station to listen to. I got static so I used mine. You have to stay inside the car. They had a bathroom stop halfway. It was around thirty dollars and you had the option of buying 3D glasses for $6, ouch a little overpriced for paper glasses. I did buy them lol. What the glasses did was that it added a figure to the lights. My glasses had snowman and if I moved they moved with me. It was cool. The snowman were everywhere. My son got candy cane. It was the same experience. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves. Some really got into the holiday spirit. Everyone was very cheerful here. It was a happy atmosphere. I was glad I came.

Today we played the silent lake disc golf course and it was a great time yet again…read more I hadn't been in a while so i really didn't know what to expect. i remember last time we had trouble finding the 6th tee box so this time we took a photo of the layout map so we had the course in our pocket. w We started at 830, which can be a busy time of day to tee off. Either it was an off day for the course or what, but we were able get rolling easily. It's a fairly open course. if you can really drive it you had alot of chances at birdie. I'm not strong but with the lack of obstacles i had a good chance at par on every hole. theres only a couple water holes(and I found the drink on both) but otherwise nothing too difficult. We will be coming back around again soon. I left too many extra strokes on the course. we can definitely do better next time.

One of the best "wide open" courses in south Florida…read more I was here again just the other weekend. A group of friends and I did the whole 18 holes. It was a perfect day, if not a little hot. But thats everyday these days in Florida. The course is well taken care of. It's a city park with plenty of other activities going on from cookouts to people jogging to playground stuff. As courses go its got a wide open layout. You can see the hole/basket from the tee box. With the wide open spaces its a very tough course to lose a disc(unless you throw it in the water). Which I did, on the 4th hole. They have 3 water holes and I found the water on one of them. The good news is it was a floating frisbee so I got it back 30 minutes later when it floated into shore. Plantation is definitely one of the better courses in south Florida. It's nice to be on one and feel like you won't lose a disc

He gets hot, so I wanted to go in the morning on an overcast day. There's so much conflicting information about the hours and locations for all the dog beaches, I thought I'd start here. It was recommended on Reddit. BEST recommendation ever! First of all, where the dogs play is mostly shaded. From what I read, it's a man-made lagoon. The water is beautiful. You can see the bottom as you enter the water. At first, Teddy was a little hesitant to get in, but there were so many other dogs there, he just wanted to play. There are poop bags there if you need them. There's also a bench-style table to sit at. Teddy had a blast! Be sure to bring some water shoes. The beach/ground is riddled with small rocks, so walking barefoot isn't necessarily comfortable. I wore slides, and it was good. After I let Teddy play, we walked in the park so he could dry off. They have a nice shaded path. They also have a Disc Golf Course. What is that you asked? I wondered the same thing. I didn't see anyone playing, but I did see the Disc catchers scattered throughout. They also have a volleyball section with beach sand. Oh yeah, they have a pretty cool butterfly garden. No dogs allowed in there, but the butterflies were flying all over that area, so I was able to see a few. Overall, it's a really nice park. I'll probably go back tomorrow.

Plantation Heritage Park is one of the best places you can come to, to walk around and decompress the day's stress. Something about being out in the nature, getting some fresh air, and seeing different animals calms my mind and my heart. It feelings healing in a way. Yes I would recommend this place to others and will be back again in the future! This park has pavilions you can rent for parties and celebrations. They also have a fitness zone where you can work out. There are playgrounds where kids can run around as well.

I got there as they opened, 8am on the weekends. The course starts on the far end of the park so you get to take in the park on the way there. Ducks and geese love this place. They are all over the place. The lake that takes up the middle of the park is postcard perfect. You can't really blame the birds for liking it. When we play the course it gives you a chance to see alot of the park. The course covers almost everything east to west. One of the really neat things is the burrowing owl really likes this park. They are located at at least 4 spots I have been by. They are unique not just for nesting underground, but that they have alot of attitude. There is one couple of birds that are the 16th tee box who hiss at you while you play. Including the bird encounters, Its a great park, whether disc golfing, or bird spotting.

A second dog park, Wag Dog Park recently opened in Oakland Park besides Richard E. Giusti Heart Parcours. Bark Park is divided into two sections: one for smaller dogs and another for larger dogs. This division is a great feature to ensure safety for dogs of different sizes and strengths. All of the agility equipment was recently upgraded and there are plenty of benches for owners to sit and watch their dogs, as well as tree shaded areas to relax, especially important during the hot Florida afternoons. The park is also equipped with water stations, dog waste bags, and trash cans, so it's easy to clean up after your pet and stay hydrated during your visit. One thing that stood out to me and that I appreciated is that the grounds are regularly maintained, and there's minimal litter or debris. I went with my senior rescued dog M-F at 7:30 for 10+ years as I dropped my sons off to school but after a few situations with irresponsible owners (after work crowd,) I felt it wasn't worth the aggravation AND the vet bills!! I decided to give it another chance last week and this morning was 4th successful dog park morning excursion. After 4 good days for a freshman dog park puppy, I decided to give it a thumbs up . He's only 6 months old but a large breed and the current science says to wait until closer to age 2 for large breed males to get neutered so that can present a few issues with OG alpha males but the morning owners are VERY mindful, attentive and responsible and were very welcoming to me and my puppy. I'm not ready to go with both dogs yet as one is a 13 y/o female schipperke/border collie and belongs with the small dogs but hopefully in the near future I'll feel confident enough to bring both.
