We hired MBS to completely regrade our yard to correct drainage issues, fill in holes left from…read moretree removal, and create a smooth surface. They had quite the job of it, as most of the yard was choked with roots, which they painstakingly dug up and hauled off. After bringing in new topsoil and grading the yard to pitch properly, MBS seeded, mulched, and added decorative stone along our sidewalk and driveway. We couldn't be happier with overall experience and the final results. A great team to work with!

I have already recommended Jason to a couple friends pricing out regrading projects. I could not…read morespeak more highly of him, his crew, and the work that was done. We had 2 areas that needed to be regraded - around our shed where we had a low spot and 3-6 inches of water would pool in heavy rain, and around our bilco doors which would pool and leak in heavy rain. The work was done in a day + 1 hour the next, after which we got some heavy rain to test it out. No water pooled and inside the bilco doors was bone dry. On top of quality work, Jason and the team were very personable and professional. On time, worked very hard, finished faster than expected, and cost was exactly as quoted. If you need work done around your property definitely give Jason a call, you wont regret it!

There were a number of delays (Ida, Covid and then the State) but John stuck through it and his team finally installed the lateral 3 weeks ago. I cannot praise the Shanahan & Luff team enough. They were prompt, friendly and skilled. After hooking up the sewer and backfilling the trench the team came back and put topsoil down, seeded and then covered the seed with straw matting. After 3 weeks, except for the new clean out vents, it is becoming nearly impossible to see where the work took place. When the Shanahan & Luff team left there was not a scrap of material left onsite. You cannot go wrong using this team.

He also promised me he would move the extra stones to where the retaining wall is from another job we hired him for but left them there on the street! Communication sucks as well. Joey told me he would move the tree wood to wherever we wanted and the extra stones we could use for around the pool area but they left it there.
