I tried reaching out to Prodigy multiple times. Their phone number just goes to a generic answering service and no one calls back. They also do not reply to emails. Others on the Facebook group have similar experiences when trying to get in contact with them.

My issue began, when he was looking at the length of the pipe. They had quoted me upto 15 foot $119. Now my laundry room is located on the second floor, back of the house, and the pipe goes straight up. I want to know how someone could tell me it was over 15 foot, when the room is only 8 foot and the roof is sloping there? There is no way it is another seven foot. To make things more interesting, I kept looking at the length of the rooter he put up there and there is no way the line was 15 foot, and the brushes on the end of the rooter were largely missing. So I am confused how one cleans a pipe missing most of the brushes? I thought at one point he was going to change the brushes, but he did not. Once he was done, he came down and he told me it was going to be $149 plus tax since the pipe was longer than 15 foot. I told him there is no way and that his company should have disclosed this before the work had been done. The total ended up being $161.29, which is about $40 more than I was expecting. I feel like this is bait and switch to be honest. I did contact their office and let them know I was unhappy with the service in relation to the charges. I thought the Tech was good, I just did not like charges. If you are going to change price, then you disclose this. I would prolly would have cancelled the service had I known this was going to happen. I did let them know, I would be doing this review. Not as a threat, but as a reminder that I am fair in my reviews, but you must disclose changes in agreed charges and you must actually measure something if you plan on charging a fee per foot. Eyeballing something doesn't cut it.

They look at the A/C unit and said no needed for cleaning the air ducts cause its clean , so he up sold me a coil cleaning cause said it has mold For $199 all they did is spray some stuff on the coils it foam up and made house smell a little better. He did'nt bothered to check all the vents in house which i was told from there telemarketers marketing it will be check and clean with special vaccums they have the best technology for cleaning. So by saying the air ducs are clean without checking all of them just one up stairs he said it was ok. The $59.99 wasnt charge to me, so i ask are you going to check the dryer duc he replied thats $20 bucks to clean which he did, but if i hadnt mentioned it he wouldn't, the service was quick about 30mins. but what suck about it everything i paid $199 to spray foam agent to a/c coils which its ripoff thats not cleaning. And what really sucks is the dirty lint and attic insulation was in my carpet and landry room i had to clean it up. And no invoice was made to me. Call quick air was told they will email me my invoice! nothing Yet! I dont know but i think its a ripoff it should $59.99 for just spraying some agent on the coils! Instead off $229.00 . When they removed the corner of one deck, we discovered that there was a concrete patio with saltillo tile underneath that we knew nothing about (the deck was already there when we brought the house). They had to break out enough of that to get access under the slab. And still no price increase, even though I said I would completely understand. They showed up at 8:30 with a crew of 7, and finished 18 piers by 5PM, replacing the deck boards, and cleaning up. Lifetime transferrable warranty. I'd call them again without hesitation.

I was having some issues in areas that had been leveled. It took a bit to get him out to look at it but he did eventually come out and did do warranty work. Later I found i had major drain pipe issues due to settlement. In an effort to not have issues with warranty on my leveling I requested JR to come give me a quote. It took six monthes and another contractor coming out to look at it to get them to come out. They quoted the work and I had them check the leveling as I was now having issues were leveling had not been complete. I went ahead and had them complete the repairs. Repairs went smoothly other than having a leak that I could see which they took care of it. The worst part is its been a year now and I cannot get them to send me an invoice for the repairs so I can attempt to claim this on my taxes as well as prove warranty on the new peirs. I have attempted to call, leave voice mail, and text messages. They completely ignore my simple request.
