    Best save for my family vacation. I'm so moved how nice people can still be in today's chaotic…read moreworld. We were leaving the country and somehow we lost our international drivers permit. We had a 1 hour time to get it done before take off. The office staff were closing at 14:00 with a whole week of hard work. I called them and they were nice enough to help me get the application rolling and everything set up before I arrive. It was the best service ever. Nina welcomed and waited for me with smiles on her face. I feel so lucky and my family gets to enjoy the vacation we planned a year ahead.

That's it) I decide to call AAA who tells me the wait is 1.5 hours (patience is not one of my virtues) The peanut gallery tells me to call a different roadside assistance company who will be able to get to me sooner and they do I'm then told I'd better not drive the car as i will ruin the rim of the tire Now then I cancelled my AAA order because another company came to my rescue. But now, I need a tow causing me lto start all over to get a tow. Are you following my story? I was lucky as the tow guy (Jonathan) who I cancelled helped me to get my order going again and he waited for me to get it ordered In less than 10 minutes he was over to save my day! Out of the sweltering heat into his air conditioned tow truck I waited as he loaded my vehicle to his truck bed. Heading to the tire place and all is good! Mahalo AAA and Jonathan for saving my day!!! AAA is batting 90 in my books. They are a good subscription to have

    My parents and I have been with Ricky at Allstate for well over a decade. He was really patient and…read morehelpful when we met him. This was important to us because English is not my parents' first language so we appreciated his assistance. Dealing with Ricky is not the issue, it's a few bad apples in the office, specifically the King St. location. When an unusual incident came up with my car, I spoke on the phone with someone at the Waipahu location who had advised me to visit the King St. location to have them assess the damage, which was fine. I drove over after work in peak rush hour traffic. However, the woman I spoke to at Waipahu had not told anyone at King St. about the visit/details of the incident, so King St. woman was not in the loop. Anyways, King St. woman made me feel like I wasted her time and that I was taking her away from gossip time in the office (also note: as soon as I walked in, I felt and saw the elevator eyes all around me). It was just a disappointing and uncomfortable situation to be in. Ricky, you let people like this represent your office? Oh, by the way, nothing was ever resolved with my car. I was basically turned away because there was nothing she could do. I paid out of pocket for the damage. So, now I've decided to switch agents cause I'm not paying you over $100 a month to treat me like an inconvenience. During the cancellation process, I was told I needed to fax over "documents". I had to ask about 4 times to figure out exactly which "documents" she needed. Of course, she started using a hostile tone and got snarky with me. It's okay, it just confirmed that I made the right decision to leave! DEUCES, SUCKAHS!

    Terrible customer service. I needed assistance with our coverage and this guy doesn't care about us…read moreas his clients. He comes off as a cocky man who thinks he knows everything. When I needed assistance with our other insurance company my questions were answered without any hassles. With Ricky you feel like you're being interrogated. You're not made to feel like family. You're made to feel like you're up to no good even for a simple question. If you're trying to get help for your family, good luck trying to get any from this guy. His priority is not your family. As such, I'm planning to drop this company as soon as our coverage expires.
