Lied about filing a claim with the shingle manufacturer and now we're going to court. All that crap that Jack just wrote is a bunch of lies ! The fact that they had to come back three times in a month says a lot about their workmanship. The warranty is still being processed because they refuse to do it and refused to provide photos gosh I wonder why. He says it's defective shingles. I say it's defective workmanship which he will not cover so be careful when he says he's gonna warranty his work because he's not going to. Jack knows full well that the shingles were installed recently in cold weather and will most likely not adhere. His warranty is for five years not for tomorrow and his employees that treated me disrespectfully leaving nails in my driveway hanging up on me not showing up for appointments and it is not closed. I will see Jack in court to make sure he fulfills his warranty promises at minimum five years. Tamco, the shingle manufacturer told me that I was the one who was supposed to file the claim, not Jack The Roofer interfering with my own claim. What kind of crap is that and that's his reason for not upholding his warranty. I definitely would not use this roof forever.

Jeremy responded within minutes and we set up an appointment quickly. I, unfortunately, was irresponsible and missed our appointment, but he still inspected and sent a quote that evening. I reached out for his opinion, and he was honest in what he thought would get the leak solved for the least cost. He suggested a patch and seal job would last at least half a decade, which fit our needs, but obviously a full replacement would be a more permanent solution. As we opted for the patch and seal, his team were quick to get the job done, and payment was super easy. Fast forward a few months to early May, when it's been raining nonstop the past few days, and no leaks! Of course, I hope the work they've done lasts longer than five years, but I know who to contact when I need it.

My experience with Oswald and the rest of the GS Exterior Experts company has been a frustrating nightmare. My "3 week project" dragged on for months with a broken window still not replaced. It's been over a month since Oswald said he would have a crew at my home at 8:30am the following day to replace the window (photo attached). I have spent far too many days waiting at home for the owner, Oswald and/or his crew to NOT show up when they said they would. No explanations, no apologies, not even an acknowledgement of the missed appointments. After failing the county inspection twice, Oswald instructed me work directly with the subcontractor, who doesn't answer the phone, doesn't return voice messages and doesn't reply to texts. I have worked with enough quality contractors to confidently say that the way GS Exterior Experts operates is not normal. The company mentality seems to be "do the least that we can get away with". I found 13 screws that penetrated through three different window frames and drywall into my home during trim installation. I found windows that were only partially caulked, missing base caps, a gaping hole between the siding and the trim and furring strips so loose they could be wiggled with 2 fingers. Prior to signing a contract, Keith assured me that his crews are experienced in James Hardie siding and have been working with GS Exterior Experts for several years. Once on site, one of the two man crew installing Hardieboard siding on my home admitted that he's not a siding guy and had never worked with GS Exterior Experts before. The quality of the work confirms his admission. After the crew packed up and left, I was left with hundreds of nails, screws, food wrappers. drink containers and cigarette butts inside my garage, in the driveway, on my deck and around the perimeter of my home. The attached photo is about a quarter of the debris I collected. My advice is to avoid this company and find one that values quality and customer service over quantity.
