Marc Dion won my civil harassment TRO case that was brought unjustly against me by my ex and her boyfriend. I have been battling my ex in court for the past three years and have been through a few attorneys along the way. What sets Marc apart, is he is a human first, then an attorney and NOT a counselor, therapist, best friend, or whatever first time clients expect from a lawyer. When I went to court with Marc, I had to testify, my ex and her boyfriend testified also, and Marc prepared for all of the testimonies with typed out and thought out lines of questioning. I terminated my relationship with my first attorney and was panicking about finding new representation for a quickly approaching spousal support hearing. After calling MANY attorneys (most wanted to set up a $400 hour long consultation), Emily in the front desk was the most helpful. She looked up my case to find relevant dates and told me the my previous counsel had multiple complaints against him. Then I spoke to Katie, who walked me through the process, what I needed to do next, and what my best options were based on my budget. Talk about sketchy lawyers. Covid hits and they manage to bill their clients to the max and not complete any work. Dion- the law firm owner is a prime example of a absolutely disrespectful man. He claimed that calling a woman a "dude" is a compliment because it puts the woman at the same level as men. And the funny part is he stood by what he said even when I said it was offensive to women. He said his clients "like it" whatever that means. My first red flag should have been when Karen Oakman said her kids come to office and they are so family friendly- makes sense why she would take advantage of a single mother is order to collect $ even though she did not complete a single task on my case. So unethical on everyone's part- major lack of communication and falsified bills and claimed time spent on emails were significantly more than what they were. Scammers. read more
