We hired Tim to help with the writing of the Divorce Agreement, as it requires very specific requirements and wording. I had prepared and filed ALL the forms required in the initial Petition, Summons, etc. and the Financial disclosures. Even though my financial disclosures were already filed, and my husband's was also ready to be filed, he asked us to re-submit all that information in another format, so he could create the Divorce Agreement. I asked him, can't you just get all that info off of the Disclosures, so then he said, okay he would do that. Weird that I had to suggest that. Then, I said I would prepare all the final judgment documents, with the help of our County Superior Court's self help service. But he insisted that he do it, claiming that if I made any mistakes it would delay the process. So I agreed. Low and behold he made several mistakes, which I caught, before it was filed. Then, once everything was finlaized, I said I would submit to the court myself in person, so, it would be recorded as received in the system immediately. He insisted that we had to print it all out, sign, and mail to him, so that he could then send it to the court. This added several weeks (couple months) to the process. On top of that, the return envelope he supplied the court was addressed to him, NOT me or my husband. I have confirmation from the court that they mailed the Final Judgment packet to Tim on Jan. 26. But it has not been forwarded to us from Tim. I have emailed him multiple times and my ex-husband has called him twice about this. And he has NOT responded, except from my first inquiry about this -- claiming that he never received anything from the court. So, let's just say that is true -- then why did the court tell me, providing the name and address they mailed it to. And if Tim hasn't received it, why has he NOT followed up, in any way, to make sure we receive copies of the file-stamped Final Judgement documents?????? Also in the process of the back and forth, fixing errors, etc., several times when I would ask clarifying questions, he would be rude and complain about my asking questions. He even said he would not file an amended form, just because I asked for clarification on why a certain box had been checked. This was to spite me, for asking too many clarifying questions. WOW! Bottm line, we do NOT have any of the Court stamped, Final Judgment Packet Documents. read more

I think the problem I had with you Tim, is that not until four minutes into our conversation did you finally came out and stated you were not an attorney. I was happy to see on your website it was clearly stated your firm was a legal document assistant company. Unfortunately only one out of the seven YouTube videos I watched had you actually stating you were a legal document assistant company. I think for everybody's benefit what you should do is take down all your YouTube videos that are misleading and clearly put up ones with a disclaimer stating that your firm is not an attorney and a legal document assistant company. Had I seen this I would not have engaged you in non productive conversation. Re-posting as requested: I recently had a 15 minute consult with Tim I was abruptly cut off Tim claimed he was NOT an attorney. But yet everything that's been presented online gives every indication that he is an attorney. So what's the deal here with this gentleman or his organization I don't doubt he offers great advice but if he's misrepresenting himself he may be in violation of state law. If you have a very straightforward case, perhaps they can help you. However, if you have lots of questions, don't expect a call back in a timely manner. In fact, you might not get a call back at all. Tim opened up my divorce case two years ago and unfortunately things did not progress with my husband as easily as I had thought they would. Along the way I had questions about the judgement and my phone calls and emails were either ignored or I got a terse answer that didn't help and just left me with more questions. Now we are ready to complete the divorce and I can't get them to respond. It was a waste of over $800. Now I am paying for someone who respects me and my situation. Even though it's more money, It's worth it to be able to get the answers I need. I would give Tim and his company zero stars if I could. He made a difficult situation even more difficult. I shouldn't have forked over almost $1000 so easily. UPDATE: I'm sorry that it is the company's belief that is was trying to extort a refund or damage their reputation. I wish I had everything documented, but I do not - I stand by my review regardless of the "evidence" Tim is quoting. I tried to get information from them after paying the fee but their answers were rarely complete or helpful. I definitely did waffle a few times on whether we were going to be able to complete the divorce - So I was going to give up trying, until my X and I began to work with a mediator who helped us finalize. I know that many people have commented that Tim did a good job for them. Obviously he can - But in my situation, he and his staff did not. My intent in writing the review was to let people know that, in MY situation, where I had a lot of questions and needed guidance, Tim was unable to satisfactory help me. He does not have all my emails documented, the ones where I asked a question and got a phrase or a single sentence back as an answer.
