We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and asked if we needed helped finding anything. The store was spotless and everything was neatly organized. We were peaking around at first and stumbled upon Bells Light Hearted Ale. It's a low cal IPA, light, only a little hoppy and a beer you can drink all day. We really like this one! I was also searching for a specific chocolate stout and could not find it anywhere. It comes in a pint and I asked one if the associates to help. His name was Kevin and it was actually his first day! He searched all the isles for it and event went out of his way to look in the back stock and on the computer in their inventory. They were out of it but he asked for my contact info to let me know when it was back in stock. Completely over exceeded my request. The prices here were fair and again, the selections were more unique than a typical liquor store. Cool spot!

We decided to do a take-home for St. Patrick's Day! I thought I didn't mind paying $19 for a to go plate or paying more money for Rueben because this place was the best! Well was a mistake. My husband's to go plate had barely any corned beef, a huge head of cabbage, one potato and some carrots. We basically paid $20 for cabbage with some meat on the side. My Rueben was like a greasy mess, basically a grilled cheese sandwich with a couple pieces of meat also. Guess what?? It all about $45 and the worst part my sandwich went in the garbage... it was so bad. Had to make my husband dinner because two pieces of meat is not going to fill up a man for dinner.. Well another good restaurant gone. I really hope these new owners try to figure out their mistakes. They need to stop cutting back on the quality and quantity. Right now we will never go back. And I will never bring friends that come from out of town for their famous chicken fingers. I will be going to Fry the Coop for everything!! My new favorite!!

The staff/owners are always incredibly friendly and helpful with making purchase decisions and we've discovered a couple of brands there that have become serious favorites of ours. Perhaps our favorite part of this store is the two cats (I think their names are Ernest & Julio) who are always laying around the store and greeting you as you enter and leave. They are both very friendly cats who don't mind you petting them while you're checking out at the register. It just makes buying wine more personable and fun.
