A small ice cream place along Irving Park Road I was very impressed with the ice cream at this place and will consider myself fortunate to have been passing by and decided to go and try it out they had various incredible flavors and I went with the two scoop with a chocolate cookie crumble type thing a very good ice cream place and highly recommended it is not very spacious but you can just take the ice cream and go out read more

I have been coming here at least a few times a year since this place opened. Dinis has never failed to impress me. The ambiance is very cozy and relaxing! One table has either a chess board or Connect 4. I love playing these games whenever I come with friends. The walls are colorful and cheerful. I also like how they try to make the most with seating despite the small place. They have a variety of flavors so there's always something for everyone. The flavors also have some very creative names lol. I like trying a new flavor each time I come here. I love how they offer ice cream floats as it allows you to try different flavors at once. The employees are always friendly and patient. Will continue to come! read more

Dini's ice cream has been a long standing favorite of mine. This small shop is located in a strip mall near downtown Roselle. They offer a ton of ice cream flavors and have a few dairy free options. The inside is always clean, staff is nice, and there's never too long of a line. This visit, I got the Smores to Love & Mackinac Fudge Island. My friend got This $&@! Just Got Real & Heaps of Love. She said it was some of the best ice cream she's had! Stop by and try some for yourself; you won't be disappointed! read more

The server was wonderful, the ice cream amazing! Their Oat milk ice cream is the best I've ever had.

Service was excellent. The employees were very helpful. There were plenty of tables and chairs. I ordered the banana split with electric watermelon, iced latte-da, and this $&@! Just got serious. Toppings were strawberries, blueberries, and cashews. I really liked the electric watermelon, a little tart but very invigorating. Iced latte-da was very good, loved the chocolate chunks. This $&@! Just got serious was delicious. Not too rich and just the right amount of crunch from the salted cashews. I would come back here again. On a side note, I would disregard the 1 star reviews from 4-5 months ago. They sound very fake. read more

We love Dini's! Best ice cream ever. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask for samples, they are happy to let you try anything! The store and outside tables are always clean and wiped down after people leave. Highly recommend read more

I live really close and happen to be neighbors with the owner. I absolutely love this place. So many flavors to choose from and they are happy to let you try a few. Heaps of Love is my favorite. The place is great during busy times as well, impressed how quickly they can get through a rush. I love the board they have to the left when you walk in because it helps to see what flavors are available without having to hover over the coolers. It gets boring with the same old offerings at other ice cream places. A definite go to, especially to try unique and delicious flavors Of course it is also great when you know that you are supporting local business owners. 10/10! read more

The ice cream is absolutely delicious, it's rich and creamy, I would 100% recommend this place it has a very homey feel to it and it's really good quality ice cream for a fair price if I dared to say so. The customer service support is phenomenal and I will 100% be coming back again! read more

Dinis Ice cream is SO good!!! Rhubarb crumble is my favorite and I usually get 2 pints of it almost every other week. Service is excellent. Marissa is wonderful and always greets us with a smile. I feel bad about having Marissa scoop 4-5 pints of ice cream when I could have called ahead. Marissa though is always so accommodating and nice about it. Thank you Marissa. Really small shop but they serve great ice cream. Helpful folks who will take care of you. Worth the stop here!

We stopped here on a whim on the way home from doing some physical labor. I was craving something sweet and this was the only non-chain ice cream place on the way home. I was surprised at how many unique flavors they had. I couldn't decide. Luckily, I convinced my gf to share a flight (4 scoops) with me. We got an apple pie one, blueberry cheesecake/cobbler? one, lemony one, and the one filled with candy (munchie madness?). We drove home as fast as we could... jk. We basically ate it all while driving home. Surprisingly, the lemon one was our favorite. Nice and tart! The munchie madness was a hard pass for me, but gf wanted to try it and she agreed it wasn't the best choice. Can't wait til it warms up so I can head back here! read more

Love coming here, I stop by because I ran out of ice cream quarts. The price for the ice cream quarts is not that bad especially when the ice cream is so good. I felt bad because the young girl was running the show by herself Saturday evening. I ordered a couple quart's and then got some scoops for the family. The coconut bliss is amazing is like eating an almond joy with never ending coconut. The black Cherry ice cream is the best I highly recommend it. They have tables inside and a couple games to play while you enjoy your ice cream. Stop by and enjoy local ice cream, this place is better than oberweis ice cream. read more

I like this little spot right next to the Jewel(s). It's cool they have non-dairy options besides the typical Sorbet. The ice cream is good, I've never had a bad flavor. There are a few tables to sit at and in the summer they have some outdoor spots as well. They are always super friendly and greet you right away. The kids seem to love it read more

Went today with the BF to pick up a sweet treat! I was happy to see so many options including for those that cannot unfortunately enjoy ice cream like myself. I had a scoop of raspberry lemon Italian ice and can I say two thumbs up!!! The BF enjoyed 2 scoops - heap of love and the Elvis. I'd highly recommend checking out! Our scoops did not melt right away and you can enjoy your dessert outside sitting on the chairs, in your car, or at home. Loved it and will be back soon! read more

Finally, another ice cream shop that we can go to. They only open in the afternoons and evenings. They get their ice cream from WI called the chocolate shoppe ice cream. Their flavors are different from typical commercial brands and they're creamy and not heavy on the stomach surprisingly! I had exhausted parent with a hint of bourbon and chocolate fudge. My husband got salted caramel and our son got ultimate oreo. Their flavors change every so often, and if I'm not mistaken, every 60 days or so. Don't quote me on that though :) Staff are very helpful and patient. You also get a reward card and after 10 punches on your card, you get a free ice cream!! read more

Great assortment of flavors! The person behind the counter was extremely polite and helpful with navigating us through the various flavors providing suggestions and samples, narrowing down options wasn't going to happen so we took a few flavors home in pints and quarts. We will absolutely be back again and can't wait to try new flavors! read more

Wow Dini's. Never again. Loved your ice cream and usually your service but this evening? What, did my husband disturb the teenyboppers that were supposed to be Wow Dini's. Never again. Loved your ice cream and usually your service but this evening? What, did my husband disturb the teenyboppers that were supposed to be working with the audacity to come in to place an order? And then LAUGH at him as he leaves?? You've lost a loyal customer over wanting a cup for a waffle cone for transportation. The outright rudness was rather shocking. Never again. What sane person responds with, "Fine, I don't care! You get more THIS way!!: as they fling ice cream back into the tub in front of a paying customer? And then laugh at him as he leaves?? Wow, just... wow. read more

I never write reviews on Yelp, I use it just to see the photos but this place deserves it - and I am a HUGE fan of ice cream. I travel for it, normally have 3-4 pints in my freezer and some sort of variety pack at all times. Little did I know this place existed in my own back yard! I purchased their Blueberry Cheesecake, Raspberry Rhapsody and Fat Elvis. This place did not disappoint - if anything it's my new favorite go to! If I had to describe the ice cream: it's the kind you'd take someone on a first date to get, the kind you'd buy after a break up, the kind you will NOT want to share with your kids, let alone anybody else... I think you get the idea. read more

Cute little place! Ice cream was delicious! Highly recommend heaps of love and sundae funnies! Staff was very kind! Will return.

Ice cream was good, however given the fact that I paid over 10.00 for 4 scoops, the scoops were very small. The guy who served me, barely put any effort into scooping the ice cream out. I have been to many ice cream places, and I have always gotten more than what I got at this place. I felt cheated for the amount I paid for such a small amount of ice cream. I'm not one to complain, but I want to feel that I am getting some value when I spend $10, will never go back there again. I could think of several other places that have great ice cream where I get a better value for my money.., read more
