Family and I took the tour to the Blasket Islands and it has been the best decision we have made on this vacation. The family that ran the boat could not have been better. Very good at what they do, from the physical job of driving a boat, to great stories about the history of the lands around us, to just being friendly hosts. About a 45 min ride out to the island, followed by two plus hours on the island (looking at the old buildings from an abandoned settlement, photographing scenery and wildlife, hiking up to the top of the island and down to the beach). Could have stayed even longer. Declan and his family made it a fun and engaging experience. If you are headed to Ireland for a vacation, add this to your list of "must do" ideas. read more

Loved, loved, loved their boat tours! Being a huge animal lover, It was awesome having a chance to meet Fungie the dolphin! The ship captain and the man doing all the speaking were unbelievably awesome. They were extremely attentive and knowledgeable! I ended up buying another ticket for the Eco tour (about 5 hours long) and on this trip, you travel to the most western point of Europe, experiencing some mesmerizing rock formations, watching the puffins, whales, the dolphins swimming along your boat, seals and their pups, and spend an hour or so on Blasket Island, and what a memorable experience! On the way back to the marina, Fungie decided to pop up and greet the tourists. So cute!! All in all, it was a fun and great experience for this American.. :-) Their customer service is excellent. So I highly recommend you take a tour with them! read more

The catamaran boat is really much more stable than the other boats that we have seen and do the same job: going to the entrance of the harbour to see Fungie that is as reliable as a swiss clock: always shows up. So you do pay before climbing on the boat. read more

This trip takes in Fungi the Dingle dolphin before it heads out further from the harbour so it's one for those interested in more than just Fungi, although it does spend 15 mins in the vicinity of the famous fish. After that, we went out further as a very nice tour guide gave a detailed account of the historical, geographical and environmental aspects of the area. At times the waters were a tiny bit too choppy for my non-sea legs, though we were assured they were relatively mild. Despite staring at a fixed point for a good part of the second half of the journey (as children all around us ran about like mountain goats, from port to starboard and back again in pursuit of the star-attraction fish), I can still vouch for an excellent trip at great value (€10 per adult, €5 per child), from which I came away with lots of interesting information to bore those around me with for hours to come (who knew trading links between Spain and West Kerry were once such that natives spoke two languages, and neither of them was English? Who knew Fungi might be gay? I could go into lichen and rocks and air quality but will reel myself in for your benefit). Thankfully we were reeled in before my fixed-point staring wasn't enough to keep at bay full-throttle seasickness, but all in all, in a trip that lasted over an hour, I can definitely recommend this, especially to those who roll well with the waves! read more

Awesome experience! Loved the 2 hour fishing trip. We caught a lot of fish and Captain Mike was super helpful and happy to let our 4 year old "drive" the boat. We took our fish to John Benny's and they made a great lunch for us. Highly recommend IT! We did see Fungie a bit on the way out and into the harbour. read more
