Joe and Destiny really took me to a blast from the past with their AMAZING and cozy corner. Right from ordering, Joe was very welcoming and hospitable. I popped in one of the VHS tapes into the TV's and was so surprised everything was in pristine, working condition! Joe brought my drink over to me while we talked about how this corner was a very personal and intimate recreation of his childhood, which I really enjoyed. As always, the boba is fresh, even though I came in 20 mins before close, and I love how all their milk teas are nondairy. Joe and Destiny made me feel so welcomed, and here I was, about to be crying in a boba shop on Mother's Day because I was brought back to my childhood by something as simple as a VHS tape and bubble TV. Joe and Destiny rly made my the end of my Mother's Day an amazing one, just through the genuine conversation and interactions we had. My husband has to wait a bit when he goes, but when he's picking up 8 drinks on Boba Fridays right when they open, that's expected.
