So far I love all of the drinks. They have their unique flavor profiles to them and some of them are just straight up from my childhood. For example, the peach milk tea tastes like a peach Calpico with a hint of peach Milkis. Another example is the lychee milk tea with star fruit jelly tastes just like lychee jello cups in the little carrying container. The more tea based drinks are definitely less sweet than the fruit ones but still very good. Although it gets really packed because of the hype and quality goes down, I still think they make great drinks (knowing they only have about 3-5 workers taking orders and serving). Definitely go during an off time to get the best quality but don't give the workers such a hard time for trying to get your drinks out when the lines are almost out the door. (Because ordering takes less time than making drinks, the waiting will build up) read more

Oh my god! I'm so happy this is here now. Back in San Diego I used to always come here to grab a tea. It's absolutely delicious. Out of all the boba shops in Colorado from sharetea to teabarr this is my favorite. I love the oolong milk tea. It is the best drink ever if you are wondering what to get. I also like the taro milk tea. Okay well anything here is basically good. So basically this place is real nice. I love the staff. They are so nice and helpful. Plenty of parking luckily. Personally I wish there was a bit more seating and the music was turned down a tad. I would definitely come here to study if that the case. Love Ding Tea!! I went yesterday and had an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly, explained the menu and gave me a sample of the boba. I told them what I liked and they recommended the Signature Milk Tea. It was exactly what I wanted and not too sweet where I would have a sugar crash a few hours later. Went to Ding Tea Denver for the first time on their grand opening day. The online advertisement said they are opening at 12 PM that day, but when we got there the open sign was off and workers were still dragging their feet. They didn't open until close to 1 PM that day. A lot of customers waited for a long time and decided to leave, doesn't seem to be a great start. Our wait wasn't long or else we would've left in a heartbeat. The overall experience for the first time was meh, nothing to write home about. However, the monster boba they offer tasted decent. We decided to visit the second time hoping our second experience will be better, but it was another disappointment. My fiancee ordered the drinks and asked if they can do the monster boba in a large size. For some odd reason they refused to offer it in a large size, yet sells other teas in different sizes. What also odd is there is a huge advertisement on their wall showing the monster boba in two sizes!! False advertisement much? One girl in the back suggested she buy two monster bobas....O' RLY? Isn't the point of getting a larger size is to pay a little extra and get more? My fiancee added golden boba and they charged her extra for it, which is totally fine. Now the issue is when they realized the boba she ordered is all gone, my fiancee asked about getting charged extra for something she's not getting. The casher lied and said she didn't charge my fiancee extra when she clearly saw it pop up on the cash register. Even though $.55 wasn't much but it's about the principles! Instead of arguing with the cashier, she decided that was a $.55 undeserving tip for their awesome service. It's unfortunate the both times we visited Ding Tea resulted in a disappointment. We were excited to be able to choose tea places between them and Meet Fresh, but it looks like Meet Fresh will be our go to spot from now on. Ding Tea seems to lack customer service and management skills. The business seems to be run by a bunch of young kids lacking business experience. One last note, to the person who painted the wall with the map of the world. Of all places, you labeled US and Canada incorrectly, might want to fix that because is kind of embarrassing, LOL. read more

Ding Tea is one of my favorite boba chains that I've had the pleasure to indulge on in the west coast especially the ones by Anaheim. When I saw one coming to Denver, I was beyond excited! Yet, after going twice (soft opening night and grand opening day), I was severely disappointed with both experiences. The soft-opening night was somewhat busy but in a way that many popular boba places nearby are on weekend nights. There were probably less than 20 people ahead of my cousin and I in line yet it felt like 100 due to how slow they were taking orders. Once we reached the cashier, we tried to order our drinks with toppings but she informed me they were out of almost every topping. How? It's barely been half 3-4 hours of soft-opening yet you ran out of the essential? Don't get me wrong, I love a good tea alone but the toppings are like the icing on a cake. And the tea was not good. My jasmine green tea tasted watered down and gave me an instant headache. At first, I thought the headache was a result of me being tired since I drank it close to 11 pm. However, trying it again the next day caused the same instant outcome. Even the drinks I bought for my sisters caused them a headache. They barely made it halfway through their drinks before chucking it into the trash. Oh yeah, the second time I went, my sea salt foam drink (layered on top of my tea) had some weird towel fabric laying in it; maybe that's why it tasted like a dirty towel? I don't know. I'm still traumatized after two months of sipping Ding Tea Denver's drinks. I highly suggest to whoever is considering this boba spot to skip it unless you like migraines then cool. read more

I decided to try this place months after they first opened because I wanted the hype to die down. Everyone has told me that the drinks are a hit or miss. The service here is fast and place is very aesthetic! I tried the monster boba and I wasn't really a fan.. I think that even though my tolerance for sugar is lower, the milk tea was very bland. I decided to try again and got the mango yogurt with lychee jelly. Definitely my favorite drink by far! I've also tried peach, lychee, and passion fruit yogurt which are also good. Dingtea and Tea Street (also on Colorado Blvd) are tied for my go-to boba place (I would give tea street a slight edge because they use fresh fruits and they're not a chain. Ding Tea however has a wider selection of bubble teas and toppings. My favorites are their fruit milk teas and yakult drinks. I also love that they have both golden boba and crystal boba. Mixed reviews on this one. Overall a cute place and good chain but just not for me. I've been there 3 times and all three times it didn't hit the spot for me. I tried both the caramel and toffee hokkaido teas (separate times) but i didn't taste a noticeable difference. The boba balls were good, seasoned well and good texture. I got the cool looking latte (forgot the name) I had seen on social media and there was no flavour, I got a small and didn't finish it. My friends like this place and everybody has their own preference, I just like sweeter tea I guess? I had the fruit tea with grass jelly and enjoyed it. I asked for 50% sweet, but I think they forgot about the request. In retrospect, I was thankful they forgot as the drink was not too overwhelmingly sweet and was just right for my palate. I also tried the oolong milk tea with boba and it was also very good. I think out of all the boba teas I've tried, they may have the best milk tea. As far as the boba balls, I think it's a bit lacking--a bit undercooked and didn't absorb the honey well. I went to Ding Tea for the first time. The place was well decorated and clean. When an employee took my order, another employee stood right beside her, so he knew I was having a small drink. He reached for the small cups, gripped the inside of the cups with all this fingers and pulled the top one off the stack. Another thing was that when I sat with my friend and had our drinks, the employees were messing around and joking loudly behind the counter. I ordered the Signature Milk Tea with black boba. I was not impressed by the flavor of this classic milk tea. I've gone to many other boba shops and this place is not necessarily the best one. This is the fifth boba shop on Colorado Blvd, with a sixth one coming on the way, so hopefully that place won't be a letdown like Ding Tea. I literally love the staff here. They're really cool and nice. I love their choice of music and just the vibe of the entire place is so chill. I can talk to my friends without having to talk over the music, which is definitely a plus compared to other places. I love their bubble compared to other places.
