Those prices are crazy! I'm not paying anywhere close to 300+ a piece for a barstool.

The store is located in a converted property, and the layout is a bit small and cramped. They have a nice selection of furniture in a variety of styles on premises, and more available in immediate inventory in their warehouse. My wife and I have a modern decor style, and the selection in the "modern" vein was a bit slim - but the special orders and catalogs help quite a bit if they don't have your taste on the floor. All that said, where this place shines is in service. It's very easy to order pretty much anything online, but often, you don't know what you're getting. The staff at Ebert knows their furniture. They know what's quality, what's not, and they can talk to you about a piece you haven't seen - and help you decide whether or not it works for you. I can't speak highly enough - expertise on large purchases is key, and these guys have it in spades. The chairs I ordered were not in stock, so after a few weeks, they arrived and were delivered. Notification of receipt and delivery were on the same day. The driver was friendly, on time, and helped get everything into the house. He even put felt pads on the bottom of each my chairs before he dropped them off. A great ending to an excellent sales cycle. Skip the big chains - Pottery Barn, et al. Ebert has the same styles, if not better quality, and actual knowledge of their merchandise. I'll definitely be back.

This store was such a great find in downtown Bethlehem. What I love about the shopping experience…read moreis that everything was so well curated - so much thought was given to the displays and store designs, and better yet there was a story behind every piece of merchandise. It reminded me of a local, boutique version of Anthropologie / West Elm but so much better. We left with an incredibly unique light - an old school camera with an exposed light bulb on top of it. We have been looking for some unique pieces for our new apartment, and were thrilled with this find. There must have been another 30 or so uniquely styled lights - made from materials like cigar boxes, old factory parts and of course cameras. Each one was so different - no two were alike! Plus they were created by a local electrician. There was also a lot of unique home goods and decorations that were upcycled from a variety of old steel factory machinery and parts - a cornerstone of the city of Bethlehem. Stop by and see what you can find!

A little on the pricey side buy you won't see any of these things anywhere else. The owner greeted us warmly and kindly. They have clothes and beautiful jewelry and things to put around your house. I loved the steel lights they were so beautiful. The jewelry was amazing. Most of the things in this shop are one of a kind and are made with the steel made in this town. Very steam punkish but they do have alot of refined pieces you know you can't live without. They also have a web site if you can't get there. I will definitely check that out. There's something for everyone great gift ideas also. Definitely worth a check in.

It's not uncommon for me to enter for an intended item & leave with a cart full. Two employees at this location mask-bullied me (I cannot wear one because of a medical condition). If the ladies room is layered in years of dust (photo), upon other filth, then why was I asked to wear a face mask? Other Ollie's locations (Tilghman St. & Quakertown) have not mask-bullied me; thank you.

Before even thinking about coming here, consider going to the Tilghman Street Ollie's instead. It's…read morebetter stocked, cleaner, has more parking, and is easier to access. This Ollie's is located in the Valley Plaza Shopping Center and is hard to access due to the busy traffic of Airport Road. The parking lot is also cramped and busy due to a poorly placed Dukin. The interior of this store has received the latest Ollie's setup, and during that process they seemingly cleaned it up somewhat. Still, this store is almost chronically understocked or sold out of items as it's a very busy store. The biggest problem is with the new Ollie's checkout design, as it's a major problem for this store. It has created a huge fire hazard. With this store's layout, you have to go through the checkout no matter what to leave and with the lines this store often has, there's no clear and easy exit. Great to prevent shoplifting, but not great if you are just browsing or if an emergency would occur. They also keep one of the entrances doors locked, so you can't go back out. With the traffic, stock, and store layout...just go to the Ollie's on Tilghman Street instead. It's a much better store.

I need to take a moment to give a shout-out to Bob's Furniture (specifically Maryanne, who works…read morethere). Backstory: I bought our couch there about 4 years ago. At the time, I debated about purchasing the extra protection/guarantee thing for $99 and then figured what the hell... I have a kid & cats. Welp. Got a hole in the couch, and it's been slowly getting beaten up - stains don't come out, that kind of thing. Another friend told me her partner, who's just bought a new place in NYC, got his couch - the same kind I have - at Bob's, but now it includes built-in shelves on either side and charging stations. Huh. So last week, I popped up to Bob's to check out the new couch. I wasn't thrilled about having to shell out $$ for a new couch, but when I talked to Maryanne, the salesperson, she said that the policy I bought might cover the cost to replace it. I was dubious but agreed it was worth the 10 minutes it took to file a claim. Lo and behold. Got an email from the claims dept. yesterday with a voucher for replacing my couch! The OG model I have isn't made anymore, but the upgrade is better anyway. Popped up to Bob's today. Ordered the new couch. Used the voucher -- free delivery, new protection plan included -- and it cost me a whole $47 out of pocket. Shout-out to Stephen for his help today & for assuring me that Maryanne would get the commission since she's responsible for suggesting I try the claims process in the first place. Moral of the story -- Bob's has decent furniture. Nothing's built to last anymore, unfortunately, but their policy -- if you purchase the protection plan for $99 -- is absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend them.
