More attuned than any prior salesman, asked age, weight, size and intent for each mattress and selected outstanding merchandise based on inventory and usage. Nick's a chatty multi tasker who was often off topic. It took 2 very long calls but I avoided the "deer in the headlights" moment when you walk into a mattress shop. Played solitaire and summarized our conversation by email establishing intent, special quarantine related needs for our business and delivery notes. Sent clear instructions and Mountain Mattress agreed to our requests. A minor mis-communication turned into a thing. Extremely happy with the product but not the process. One employee was beyond unpleasant and Nick doubled down on his integrity instead of apologizing and being done. Had I foreseen all that would follow I wouldn't have spent my stimulus here. Chaotic. Survived the buying process, missed out on "vanity points" and major cash back. Nick prefers cash, check, will take cards, not Discover or American Express. I survived the supervisor and 2 long rambling off topic phone calls. Would I shop here again? No. The process was too chaotic. I called the store this morning to verify told the district manager noted on my order no return is possible. After returning home I decided the one I had was very similar. Same day went back to the store an hour later but Janeen refused to take it back, even though she could clearly see the package had not been opened. Very rude and unpleasant. Shop where customer service is good. When you buy something they are pushing to sell you they don't tell you it is a final sale. Same thing happened with friends who bought a mattress but were unhappy with the firmness, a week later Janeen refused to exchange it for a different one saying the store policy does not cover "comfort" exchanges. Any mattress store will give you at least 30 days. The good reviewers will realize this when down the road they experience a problem with their purchase.
