In NYC we don't have the luxury of a lot of space, so a shed in my backyard would make great use of being able to have additional space. I reached out to all the popular places, Home Depot, Lowe's etc. Unfortunately NONE of them would be willling to carry supplies through my home, as all of their kits come with the walls pre-built and thus unable to enter into a home that does not have backyard access. NYC backyards are always closed off! It wasn't until I came across Pleasant Run Structures and their team of experts that I realized this dream to have an extra room in my backyard could happen. The came up with a custom design that they would be able to bring through my home and into my backyard and build from scratch! Truly remarkable. Nobody else would offer this. They came Thursday morning at 7am and were finished by 2:30. It was a crew of 3, they were very respectful and considerate. They even installed the insulation I had for the flooring. I was really impressed with how fast they built the shed. Not just framing it out and laying in the ply for floors and walls, but also the vinyl siding and 6ft patio doors, roof shingling etc, wow! I was very impressed with how well they worked and how nice they all were. They wanted us to understand what was going on every step of the way with the build. Also, the quality of the materials used to make the pavilion are extremely good and solid. You can see quite clearly that this pavilion is going to last a very, very long time. Dennis of American Shed Builders showed up when he said he would, and was knowledgeable and accommodating. (He said that his guys would take the minimal stuff out of my existing shed before they knocked it down, and then put it all back in the new shed. And that's exactly what they did.) The pricing was transparent; he brought a price list and color charts with him that he left with me, and based on my existing shed he recommended one of the models in an appropriate size. On the day the new she was to be installed, his guys showed up as promised. They emptied out my existing shed, took it down (and took away the shed remnants for recycling), put up the new shed, put on its siding, and painted the doors the color I had chosen. They showed me how the doors and ramp worked, and were out of here a little more than four hours after they arrived. I am glad I chose American Shed Builders, and when I look out my window, I'm so glad to see my new shed instead of the rusting hulk that it replaced.
