    Dumplings and five spice noodles
    Matthew M.

Awesome food truck for dumplings and five spice noodles. Several different options for dumplings (beef, chicken, pork, vegan). Perfectly cooked and flavorful. The five spice noodles were delicious and a good size portion as well. Sauces include chili oil and soy sauce. Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, and I definitely recommend checking them out!

Has the vegan dumplings at Floatfest and they were really good. No idea how much they cost.

Great service and amazing dumplings!!! I definitely will come back over to this food truck again when I get the chance to!!!! Five stars is exactly my total rating!!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!!

Dina's dumplings was parked @ the Brewology beer fest. Decided to try their rainbow dumplings and hibiscus drink. Both were a total let down:( Dumplings had zero flavor and were just plain gross. Hibiscus drink wasn't good either. So sad I wasted money :( I had never met a dumpling I didn't like, but I did now! Yuck!

My good friend and I were at the Huntington Library (HL) for their 2022 Chinese Festival celebration this past Saturday 02/05/2022. This was my first time attending such event at HL since I've had its membership on 09/25/2020. Can't believe it will be two years since becoming a member. Time sure flies when we're having fun. =) Anyway, back to this review... there were a lot of people. It was very festive. A handful of food trucks were present. We chose Dina's Dumpling because it was the only one we saw closest to us. The other food trucks were hiding elsewhere LOL. It was my friend's birthday weekend and I wanted to treat her lunch... what a perfect occasion to celebrate my friend's birthday. We ordered the 10 pieces chicken dumpling, 10 pieces vegan dumpling, scallion pancake, 5 spice noodles, 1 coke, 1 hibiscus lemonade, and 2 bottled waters. It was more than enough food for 2 people. =) Dumpling skin was thicker than what I'm used to eating. The chicken filling was okay. I was slightly disappointed with the veggie dumpling though... it lacked flavor. Maybe I should have gotten the shrimp dumpling... I love shrimp! The star of the meal was the scallion pancake... delish... this is a keeper! The noodles weren't bad at all... decent, but not as spicy as I thought it would be. I didn't drink the coke, but hopefully, Coke did it's job LOL. As for the hibiscus lemonade, very refreshing! I didn't care for the Arrowhead water brand, but wanted to make sure we had water with us throughout our visit. At the end of our meal, we ended up having leftovers LOL... 11 dumplings and half noodles. We took down everything else. Staff was pleasant, but the speed of service could have been better. There were 5 or maybe even 6 people behind us and they got their order before we did... I was like... what the heck LOL! I know we ordered a lot of food, but still. They said the vegan dumpling take a little bit longer... I'm like they should have taken lesser time... they're just veggies LOL. Anyway, we waited patiently for our food. We were grateful they were there for the HL guests. Prices were a tad steep, but hey, they brought the food to us so we can't complain too much LOL. Not sure where Dina's Dumpling will be next on their food truck traveling journey. Give them a try should you see them the next time you're on the road. Happy Dumpling!

They were at Asia Pacific Museum and I tried the scallion pancakes and the shrimp and pork dumplings. The menu wasn't up to date with their prices, so that's why I'm docking a star. The food was good, I liked all of the sauces that came with each dish. The dishes are pretty hearty, so in retrospect I could have just had the 6 dumplings, or the scallion pancakes. After eating both I was stuffed so definitely bring a friend if you're going to do both.

Dina's dumpling was at the Vegan Exchange LA in North Hollywood. We tried their hibiscus lemonade, large vegan dumpling a small order of their 5 spiced noodles. The vegan dumplings really good! Make sure you dip it in the chili oil!! I was highly disappointed in the five spiced noodles because it wasn't as advertised. They have pictures of their food posted on the food truck and it shows the thick squiggly photos (that was taken 2 years ago!!!) but we got regular chow mein noodle and it tasted like Panda Express noodles and I feel jipped. They needa update their pictures because it's honestly deceiving. :( Their hibiscus carbonated lemonade was refreshing except the paper straw made it hard to drink from after a few sips.

Delicious dumplings and sauces. I had the rainbow dumplings (which let me try pork, chicken, beef and vegan). All delicious! I enjoyed the Dan dan noodles too--perfect cool dish for a hot day, and the peanut sauce is tasty and the right amount tossed in. Very friendly staff and I could order ahead. It was ready very quickly and I'm glad I finally got to try this truck.

(Dined 09/14/19 SA @ 7:30pm): Such darling dumplings Dina had! I recently enjoyed a viewing of "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" during an Eat See Hear event at Centennial Square at Pasadena City Hall when I ascended upon Dina's Dumpling Food Truck. Although I frequently attended, worked, or volunteered at the myriad of year-around events throughout Southern California, this was the first time I've ever seen this road restaurant and strangely attracted to the Pepto-Bismol colored truck. Would I need to drown myself in a bottle of this after I downed some dumplings!? QUICK BIO "Dina's Dumpling is a colorful addition to Los Angeles' food truck scene. Not only is it a bright pink truck, it's also carting around brightly colored dumplings for your enjoyment. But don't let the color deter you. Instead, be drawn into a hue of good food, coming to a curb near you. At Dina's Dumpling, you're getting dumplings that are set apart from the rest. Sure, in color, but also in authenticity, as these dumplings are made from traditional preparation methods passed down over generations. Modernized, too. It's no wonder they're calling themselves a modern Chinese food truck, cruising the streets of Pasadena in style. From pork, shrimp, and beef stuffed with ginger and green onion to a vegan variation stuff with such goodies as shiitake mushrooms and organic spinach, there's a world of flavor at your fingertips." PURCHASE Hibiscus Ice Tea & 6-Piece Shrimp Dumplings ($5.00 + $12.00): The hibiscus ice tea was slightly sweet and really refreshing on this hot day; boba would've made it even better! Filled with plump shrimp, ginger, and something else I couldn't recall on a lazy bed of red cabbage, the wrapping was thick and held everything together well. Each piece was a mouthful and left a smile on my face https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=F2XjiSgNBsnlMx9akR59gA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE I dealt with one individual - a young friendly female who quickly took my order, shortly after handed me my drink, and then received my food in barely five minutes! Excellent efficiency and speed! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) Being a food truck, they were at the beck and call wherever the event was held. I went Metro on the Gold Line to Memorial Park for a short couple blocks walk. Otherwise, the venue was at Centennial Square at Pasadena City Hall which had plenty of surrounding metered, timed, and eventual free parking (after 5pm) around the entire place. Another option was to hire a driving service like a taxi, Lyft, or Uber. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Your standard self-sufficient food truck with exterior menus https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=3_DBuHnalzv7vfJA9_rtBw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, order and pick up windows, an area for condiments, napkins, and utensils, no designated seating area, and natural lighting was prevalent during the daytime while electric street and truck lighting glowed at night. There were no TVs nor background music https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=armMz9dyKaSfZ87S-PrXXg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Dina's Dumpling Food Truck was a nice treat (I really liked the hibiscus ice tea) and would consider them again. However, the menu was considerably limited to only five types of dumplings, a couple sides, and a handful of drinks. In addition, the prices were food truck standard if not a tad higher, so no deals here ($2/dumpling in this case). I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $17.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 4.0 STARS

The Dina's Dumpling food truck came to an event at Calarts last week, and I'm so glad they did!! I ordered the pork dumplings (6) the first time I came by and I really enjoyed the filling- it was flavorful and there was a big container of chili oil that I added which sent the dish over the top! I came back later with a friend and got the hibiscus lemonade and the noodle dish. The lemonade was so delicious, I could have had another one for sure!! The noodle dish wasn't spicy but was still very flavorful, and I really appreciated being able to add chili oil to my orders. All in all a great spot and I'd definitely recommend checking it out!!

I threw a hail mary and booked without having tried the food myself before and prayed that the experience would be wonderful. To say i was satisfied with them would be an understatement. Though i booked them last minute (literally 2 days before the event), Brooke was more than accommodating and helped decrease the stress! Communication was clear via phone and email and in the course of a couple of hours, she had given me customized menu options within my budget as well as vegan restrictions -- all while i multitasked at work! On the day of the event, her staff arrived promptly at the discussed time and had the food prepared and set up nicely. Everything was beyond expectations and i was complimented all night at how good the food was. Bonus: they are a zero waste company and also used biodegradable eco-friendly utensils! a company after my own heart. I will definitely book them for future events and recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food and great service with a sustainable mindset!

A criteria we had when searching for a caterer was having a family style option so that our guests had a chance to eat multiple items/dishes. We knew we didn't want each person to just get one plate of food with a single protein choice; we wanted a feast! After finding Taste of Pace through some online research, we scheduled a tasting, which completely blew us away! Pace had us come to a loft where she cooked all of the dishes as we sat, ate, drank, listened to lovely Italian dinner music, and chatted with Brooke to go over the menu options. We instantly booked with them after. They also helped with the open bars we had at the wedding, so the food, the alcohol, the staff were seamless and amazing. We keep getting comments on how delicious the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner platters were. For cocktail hour, we had a charcuterie station, hamachi crudo, risotto cakes, and hangar steak. For dinner, we had an heirloom lettuce salad, braised short ribs, salmon, fingerling potatoes, and seasonal veggies w/ burrata. I was definitely not one of those brides that don't get to eat a bite of their food at their wedding. Oh, I sat and ate my ENTIRE plate of food! My favorite thing about Taste of Pace is that they are a zero waste catering company and they use every part of their ingredients. It's so amazing!

We had a premiere party at Castle Green in December where your only choice for catering by contract with the building is Little Lily's Kitchen. Kari and Booke were very nice, but their prices were insane for what we needed. In any case, we moved forward with an 8K invoice for a "finger-food" order for 250. When we found only 70 had RSVPd, we obviously had to honor our non-refundable contract for the 8K, which we did in good faith and ahead of schedule. But since we were at 1/3 capacity, I asked for an additional choice of finger food, which they did. The problem came in the fact that we paid for 6 servers and received 3. The food didn't begin circulating (by a very sweet wait staff) until 45 minutes after guests arrived and then it was very intermittent with many never receiving food. For 8K I expected non-stop food for our 70 guests, instead what I got (and didn't find out till later) was a lot of hungry people. On top of that, we had 16 guests report stomach issues the next morning - the commonality being goat cheese. When I addressed this to Brooke and Kari, I was not looking for a refund - after all, maybe it was a stomach virus that circulated within 24 hours, but I was dismayed by the fact that they didn't respond at all- zero, zip, nothing, not even a thank you for our business. It was the BIGGEST ripoff I've ever experienced with a caterer. For anyone having an event at Castle Green that doesn't involve a very large payout for the owners, buyer beware.
