Jennifer Greenberg is just excellent. We have a newborn and I am a first time parent and I was…read moreconcerned about latching, pumping and other things. Jennifer communicated very well with us before the appointment and during it. She has a background in education, so she explains things in a fantastic way that made me and my husband comfortable. She taught me how to latch, how to check for hunger cues and other things. She is patient, knows a lot and very organized. I am SO HAPPY with her. At the hospital I saw couple IBCLC (lactation consultant) and they were not as helpful as Jennifer - not even close. If you need her service, please do. She is an amazing human being and an excellent professional!

Reasons I gave her five stars: - she fixed our son's feeding problems right away, during the home visit. - she validated every problem/concern we had, and provided concrete executable solution. Never vague. Never hand-wavy. Never dismissing any issue. - she provided help not only for feeding, but also in exercising and sleeping. - she wrote up detailed reports after the visit. Details for my two experiences: - The first time was when my son was 11 days old. He wouldn't latch during breastfeeding, and Jen taught me how to properly latch, and how to observe his suckle & swallow ratio. She also helped me with selecting pumping flanges. - The second time I called her was a different issue. Little one likes to be breastfed but just wouldn't take a bottle. Only 0.5 to 2 oz per feed. We tried everything we can for a month but in vain. Like last time, Jennifer came to our house, and viola, my son took a full 4oz under her guidance! That's never happened before! Now that he is eating enough, he's also sleeping longer and I'm also getting enough sleep.

Andrea is an amazing resource, support, and breastfeeding advocate and ally! I was referred to…read moreAndrea by our Pediatrician after our newborn experienced weight loss. Andrea immediately returned my call, provided a thorough phone consult to gather information about my baby and me. She set up an appointment for an in home consultation within 72 hours. Andrea came to the house, met with me for three hours and completed a very thorough assessment. Andrea answered all my questions, was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive. She had really helpful suggestions on nursing positions, pumping strategies and recommendations. Andrea weighed the baby after nursing and evaluated my pumping amounts. I never realized how much science/math goes into the process. Andrea wrote a full report which she shared with my Pediatrician and OBGYN. Andrea helped resolve my baby's weight loss and has been a constant support in my breastfeeding journey! She continues to be an amazing resource and support postpartum, providing education/resources around nursing and pumping. I am so thankful for the referral to Andrea! I would strongly recommend Andrea whether it be you first baby or third!

Andrea did two home visit for me and my son - first to help with a nursing strike and bottle preference - and second, what I thought was another strike, actually turned out to be reflux! Andrea gave me a new bottle system, SNS and other tools to use as a part of the care plan she created and walked me through to help work through the nursing strike - and with the reflux, she helped me understand the cues my son was giving me that he wasn't feeling good about eating, and referred me to my physician. With both visits she sent the care plans to my OB and my son's Pedi. Truly above and beyond with her in home service and follow-ups via email/phone. I couldn't recommend more highly if you are considering having an LC come into your home!

Kristin was so understanding and scheduled my sessions with Karina. I'm not a very religious person by Karina was my angel. She helped my son go from waking 6+ times a night to only 2! Fast forward to my son being 12 months old, I was so impressed with Karina that I asked if she could sleep train my son (honestly thought that was going to be impossible). My son was sleeping through the night within 5 days.. 5 days can you believe it! I owe everything to Karina and Kristin. Not only did they help me in a time of need, Karina has become a confidant (something I really need being a first time mom). She has even given me advice about transitioning from the crib to toddler bed. If you are considering a night nurse or even sleep training, I cannot recommend Nightingales enough. You will not be disappointed!!

The folks at Nightingale were extremely organized and professional. And the newborn essentials guide has been really helpful over the last few weeks. The true star has been our nightingale, Trisha. She was extremely caring of our baby AND of me (e.g. she regularly showed up with baked goods like lactation cookies). Moreover, she was very accommodating and professional, which helped us to trust our baby and our home to her. Seriously, Trisha is the best.
