The chain saw made quick work of the tree, but required James to go up the tree and remove the branches starting with the small ones, and ensuring they fell away from the house. Paige was on the second crew that came in with a machine we'd never heard of--a stump grinder. Lots of wood and debris resulted. As with the first crew, they did a thorough job cleaning up with a gas-powered leaf blower and plastic bin for all the wood shavings. The first crew used a wood chipper. Paige also answered some unrelated lawn questions I had. Similarly, Jeremiah also removed a small ash and dead bushes. Both also took away some metal stakes that were left by previous owner that I couldn't easily dispose of. We're so happy with the professionalism and sheer niceness of these people, we wanted to write a review. It's also great to not worry about the tree splitting and injuring the house and to have lots more planting space. Nice people deserve to be rewarded!

Not responding to a potential customer, even if the answer is "no," is never an acceptable business model. I would have expected better from a company who boasts winning "best of" awards over several years.

He and his office manager/wife were meticulous in scheduling a date for the work (8-1-16) and called several days in advance to confirm. On the day of the trim Kevin arrived exactly when promised: 7:15am! He worked tirelessly and methodically on our gigantic cottonwood, cutting, and then chipping logs until 2:30pm. When he was finished, he even showed me the chipped wood and asked if I wanted any of it to use as mulch around our yard. My husband and I said we did want the mulched cottonwood as our yard has several spots where it will be useful. Kevin was so friendly and professional. Our tree (which we know we will loose in about 2 more years) is no longer an eye-sore and will continue to shade our home for another 2 years. Our neighbor even came over during our trim and hired Kevin on the spot to do a small trim job in his yard across the street. I am a huge fan of this company and I highly recommend them!!

It has died because they did not remove the old topsoil when the old grass was removed, they just sprinkled a thin layer of home store topsoil on top of the hard, packed clay that was there. They did replace some of the sod but that was dead within 10 days in spite of our sticking to a proper watering schedule. You can peel it up like an area rug and the soil underneath it is rock hard. They charged me $1600 and will not make it right or stand behind their work.
