I scheduled an appointment to have my car serviced. I dropped it off at 0800. It was finished by 1100. Their prices were reasonable and the service was super. Scheduling can be done by calling or putting in a request on their website. The garage was very clean and the waiting room was pleasant. The staff is multi-lingual so no problems with communication. Diller Automobile is the only place I will go to for car repair from here on out. If you are an American that has bought a new car at the exchange, and need repairs of any kind, you will be referred to a contracted repair shop. I will not mention their name, since they will be the first place you are referred to. Avoid them like the plague, it will be a nightmare you will not soon forget, and head straight to Diller Automobile. I had to have my breaks and rotors replaced the first time I went to Mr. Diller. Because I needed a rental car, I had to wait until he had one available. Not only did he provide me with one when he had it, he didn't charge me for it, or require me to fill the tank when I returned it. I'm not sure if this courtesy is extended to all of his customers, or if it was because he didn't have one available at my first appointment and therefore had to reschedule it. For whatever reason, it was greatly appreciated. The mechanics are highly trained professionals, and had my car ready for pick-up the next day. Hassle free. Two weeks later, my power seat and speakers didn't work. I thought that I must have unplugged something under my seat while vacuuming the car. I called Mr. Diller and explained what I thought it was. He needed my car throughout the following day to figure out what the problem was, and he and his team located the culprit: a burnt fuze . They replaced the fuze at no cost, didn't charge me for the man hours locating the root problem, and again, didn't charge me for the rental car or gas. Those two experiences I have with Diller Auto, are the reason for this review, and the reason that they will have my business until I leave. I realized a few days ago that my car's handling wasn't all that good and I found out I still had summer tires on. FAIL! I ordered the new winter ones and Angel took care of it and called me back a few minutes later to set up the appointment. Since they were already putting it up on a lift and tinkering with it, I figured why not have them change the brake pads and brake wear sensors too? Well, toss in an oil change and everything should be good to go. I brought the car in the night prior to my appointment and left it with Michael. I also left 5 quarts of oil, oil filter, the new brake pads and a front and rear brake sensor. With the tire swap (summer to winter), mounting, balancing and installation, it would've cost me 364€. Labor for the oil change and brake job would've brought the entire total to maybe 500€. I got a call around 3PM and was told the car was done. Michael also tells me that the old pads look brand new and that they didn't replace those but cleaned the rotors and pads anyways. They did install the brake wear sensors since those were actually missing. I picked up my car and now it runs smoothly and I won't have to worry about getting fined for driving on summer tires anymore. Best part is, I only got charge cheaply for the oil change. For the entire thing I paid maybe 400€ (tires, swap, oil change, brake sensor install etc) which is crazy cheap. Awesome service! I know I will be back here for any vehicle service or repair I will be needing for the entire time I will be here in K-town. And of course Angel is a hottie and she's very nice. read more

Diller is a breath of fresh air. I can't say that going to the mechanic is an event that gets me excited, or even puts me in a good mood. But Diller has a way of making an awful experience like dropping money on your car seem... not SO bad. I like Diller's turn-around. I've gone for minor fixes and they usually have me in-and-out in few hours. Even bigger work has taken less time than expected. Early morning appointments are key, but since they open at 7 they're very accommodating, and you'll get taken care of no matter what time of day. I've been even offered a fresh cappuccino in their waiting area. That's pretty rockstar service. Professionalism is great, and they're a great balance of well-spoken and presentable administration, without sacrificing that hands-on, "overalls and grease" feel you want somebody working on your car to have. From what I'm to understand they do car rentals as well (of which I have none experience) and cover most of, if not all aspects of car repair. They have a car wash station as well. Super handy. Great prices, awesome service, and they seem to know what they're talking about. Mr. Diller who owns and also manages/works at this auto repair store is a very helpful, honest, fair salesman. When I first got here, after only a few weeks, there was something wrong with my car. I for the life of me could not figure out what was wrong. Here in Germany everything is SUPER expensive with a CRAZY sales tax of 19.99% so I had to dive deep into research on who would be the best person/shop that could possibly assist me with my troubles. I spoke to a few coworkers and looked up places on Yelp based on their advice; I still couldn't find a reliable place... Thanks to yelp, I type my requests and BAM! Mr. Diller's Auto shop popped up with GREAT reviews and great feedback from American customers. I called, made and appointment and he took in my car. Come to find out, from what we thought was an engine problem, it turned out that it was a rear wheel bearing problem. They did an estimate and had me come back when the parts came in about 3 days later and he fixed my car at the price he quoted me. I researched how much it would cost to fix the issue in the states and he actually quoted me for almost the exact amount, and this was the cheapest quote I found. I was really excited, since then, I've decided to come here for all of my car needs. I recently just came in for an oil change and it was done in about 45 minutes. The price for this was definitely cheaper than what some shops in the states would cost for an oil and filter change with full synthetic oil. I paid only $117.51 (with a VAT form) for what normally costs $145.00+ from Jiffy Lube. Granted there are other places cheaper in the states like RJM Auto Repair in WA, but this was done by the owner himself. I'm very happy with services provided by Mr. Diller and will continue to come to him for services that my car needs :) read more
