Thelen completed FOUR projects on my building totalling over $30,000. All bills were paid…read morepromptly. TWO of the projects were less than satisfactory. The mini split installation required almost $550 (out of my pocket) to local service contractors for modifactions over the next year to correct problems directly related to the Thelen installation. A zone heating modification never worked properly after a $2500 (paid) installation, Two Techs spent four hours reviewing the problem and stated that the system design was was incorrect. The system design was done by Thelen! I told this to the technitians. For this assesment I was billed $624! I refused to pay for this "trouble call" and told them so. The office/account manager then sent this bill to a collection agency. I documented all of the problems and expenses and provided it to the management who refused to discuss the issues until I paid the collection agency. Now I am dealing with a collection agency for a $624 bill after spending $30k here.

They are Renewal by Anderson windows installed by Western Products. They have leaked worse than the old widows they replaced since they were installed. Western Products service is a joke. It had been a struggle to get them to respond sometimes it takes me calling repeatedly. The couple times I've gotten someone out to look at them they only have put a dollar worth of foam pieces in to try to in my opinion bandage the leaks. Did nothing to help with problem. Be very cautious of this company and products. There sales team really make it sound good and make you think the will work diligently to resolve any problems. I have found out he hard way so far this is not true. I will keep posting any progress with my situation.

Job that should have took a couple of weeks took almost 3 months. Had cracked window installed, was told not to worry by the so-called project manager because he already ordered it. 2 months later was told it was on a truck. Following month was told it was in production. Finally got the window 3 months after start date. Ended up installing window extentions myself because I came home to find gorilla glue (my glue they helped themselves to) oozing out of the window casing joints. Definitely not finish carpenters. Left all the debris piled up in the yard during the entire project. The caulking looks like terrible. Cons !

Mike was a life saver on getting my roof approved, not only did I get full roof replacement, he…read morealso got paint approved for my hardy board that had been hit by hail but no visible damage other than a slight discolored ring when you spray water on it! now, ill be honest, there were times I was worried during this whole process - 2022 was a crazy year around here for hail damage and they got me in at the end of the season, well apparently the sub that actually did the labor of replacing the roof, made some small but costly errors during reroofing... but not to worry Mike took better care of me than I would have ever expected, normally it's I call Mike and Mike compels the sub to come fix the issues! that's not what Mike did, Mike called his other sub and gave him the green light to inspect the work and anything wrong they find they would get to fix and bill, so they were incentivized to find mistakes... the total opposite of typical situations where the screw ups default back to the very people that screwed up in the first place! Not only this amazing way to handle a problem but he also put some gutter covers on one side of the house that for some reason didn't have them like the rest of the house... but wait there's more, some of the siding on a peak that meets the roof was decaying from so much water moving past it, and Mike had the new sub cut the rot out and put in some metal to protect the house in the future... and he did that at no cost to me and the insurance did not cover it due to it being normal wear and tear not damage from storm! thanks Mike and the whole higher dimensions team for taking care of me like you would a family member! I really love finding service providers who stand behind their promises, which is rare in todays world!
