I frequently visit Dill Electric for the mundane but necessary task of stocking up on light bulbs. At work, the whole building is lit by halogen spot lights which creates a moody, more intimate atmosphere. I think there is some sort of apparition in the building however, as they seem to need replacing awfully often, and purchasing a large supply can be inordinately expensive. Dill Electric came to our lighting rescue. They sell a two pack of the aforementioned bulbs for £4.99, which is great value compared to their high street rivals.
I entirely agree with the government's scheme to phase out the current style of light bulb, replacing them with the energy saving versions. The benefits are obvious, it will save energy and overall expenditure. However, my Gran struggles with her eyesight and with the old fashioned bulbs being made obsolete, we are experiencing difficulties in lighting her home sufficiently. Dill Electric comes to the rescue again! A small quota of the required bulbs wings its way off to Durham on a regular basis, and it does stop her berating Gordon Brown every time she flicks a light switch.
My favourite time of the year to view this stall, is during the Christmas period. The shop offers an entire range of flashing fairy lights so excessively skittish, they could practically induce epilepsy. It is a sight to behold.
Dill Electric keeps my family and I most satisfied in the light bulb department. As an accidental coincidence when visiting the stall, you can treat your friends to the light bulb gag. Just hold a bulb above your head and pretend you have had a genius idea - it will light up their day. They definitely will not hold a dim view of you. They will guffaw and not stare blankly, asking watt you are talking about. Enough. read more
