Virginia was my mom's primary nurse and was the absolute best...she was attentive and caring and spoke to my mom like an equal whose feelings she cared about. As the primary contact for my mom, Virginia helped me to understand where we were at in this whole process. Desiree took care of my mom's needs for bathing and toileting and such whenever she was there. She gained my mom's trust and became her friend. Amazing! Caroline, our social worker assigned to us from Dignity, was amazing. She answered questions and checked in regularly. She was an extra, smiling face visiting my mom and sitting with her for company sometimes. George, the Chaplain assigned to us, was someone who worked to know my mom and visit with her and sit with her. He also texted and checked in regularly and his presence with my mom, eased my guilt when I couldn't be there. I'm just so appreciative to everyone at Dignity and the care, and DIGNITY, they provided my mom in her last 8 months. I will miss being in contact with these wonderful, compassionate humans.

He could be dying and all you focus on is his account and $40- before giving US the chance to research & remedy??? You need to seriously search your soul, sister and get out of health "care" if you don't care I'm going to bring your $40 to the office to behave like a human being that has morals and higher ideals rather than kicking someone when they're completely down. Dr. Cade visited with us as a family, to talk about Stan's medical issues and explain their services. A nurse came to visit with him every few months and was available to answer any questions we had. When the team at TruCare found out that Stan loved dogs, they found a therapy dog to come visit. When Stan entered hospice care, he continued with the TruCare hospice team at Longmont United Hospital. The staff and volunteers were wonderful and provided excellent care and support to our whole family.

I walked in his room and a very sweet lady was holding his hand(s) and talking to kindly to him. I witnessed this while he was there. He enjoyed that! Soon I met the whole team. My first time there was so amazing, I told the doctor that if I every need to be in hospice away from home - I want to come there ! All the nurses/whole care team were kind and very experienced. My husband even had a mountain view! Daily they kept me up to date on everything, with loving compassion. He had a death doula a day or two before he passed. His last night on earth, he had the most beautiful woman (inside and out) who did a calming, relaxing Comfort Touch session. He was able to let go a few hours later. I was there in the room. It comforted me to ring the Himalayan salt bell or chime, as his body was wheeled out. I can't thank Tru Hospice enough for their kind, expert and compassionate care. Nancy Dutton 2. Early 2026 I started attending the Widows, Loss of Spouse Group at True Hospice in Lafayette. This became a haven for me, still is, being with other people who lost their spouse. We all understand what each other is going through. I will continue attending for a long time. The facilitators are so kind, gently guiding us as a group. I don't want to miss a group, it's so important to my well being. A big sigh for the help and relief I have received! Two other friends have attended this group. 3. Beaded Memories Class - A Life Changer for me was my First Beaded Memories Class in Februrary 2026. I was kind of lost or unsure of my future. Facilitataors compassionate and very helpful in creative activities. Other people and I arrived tired, sad - by the end of making our photo boxes with beads and pictures to store our memories, we were all smiling and happy ! We didn't want to leave the room. I discovered this class sparked and restored a part of me that was missing during the years of caregiving. It was so good to get back that creative, joyful part of me. I felt and still feel great hope and more direction in my future. Another friend now attends this class every time she can. I have attended 4 classes, each with a different craft to honor my loved one. Thank you for making this a year-round class of hope and joy. 4. Sound Healing class - I have attended and gained peace around the loss of my husband since starting these classes once a month in 2026. The teacher is so loving - love emanates from every cell of her body. She offers a wide range of sounds, plus her presence is beautiful inside and out. I go home calm and able to rest - removes restlessness I feel since my husband passed. 5. Mindful Meditation - I have been able to attend once in 2026. Very calming, and I went home with relaxation to sleep better. I have done a lot of mindful meditation for years on my own to help with anxiety of Loved One's health issues and then death, but will attend more in the future. 5. I am so grateful that the founders started this amazing organization Tru Hospice, which has made a huge difference in my grief journey ! I tell everyone about Tru Hospice, what they offer and how they have helped me. What I learn and feel in these classes pervades my life every day now. Such a relief! Yes, there's an ongoing journey still, but I look forward to the assistance these groups offer each time. 6. Also grateful for the generous sessions with Joan Hummel - we had a compassionate connection, fun and loving. She made a big difference in my grief journey. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for Joan. Her last session affected me for life - with my picking out of different hearts that reminded me of him! 7. A friend and I attended the annual ceremony honoring our loved ones passing at the Unity Church. We brought pictures and enjoyed all the heart-touching stories we heard. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this agency, as their practices are not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. Collin and Emily make a very strong first impression, but eventually, their true colors show. As I write this, I already expect the "owner," or whoever is managing the account to respond with the same gaslighting I was met with for the last year regarding "open lines of communication" and "we care", however, I would be remiss not to speak for my community of the disabled and elderly who desperately need care, especially after my complaints of negligence were confirmed by the Colorado Department of Public Health. The agency's negligence is evident with many of the caregivers they sent to my home. On multiple occasions, people were sent with little to no communication and asked to perform nursing cares outside of their scope of practice (if licensed at all), putting my health and safety at risk because they were ill-equipped and untrained to handle the specific needs of my condition. It is deeply concerning that the agency would allow such practices to occur, as they should be aware of the potential consequences. Regarding nursing care, I did not receive the required supervisor visits from a licensed nurse to assess my care. If I called the office/owner with a nursing care need or urgent situation, I was dismissed if answered at all. For any nursing requirements that caregivers on my team could not perform, I had to call dispatch health or go to the emergency room. Even when caregivers presented them with something concerning or marked a change in my condition, there was no follow-up from the agency. More alarming is the fact that the agency hired caregivers without conducting thorough background checks. As a patient, I deserve to have trustworthy individuals providing care in my home. There was a caregiver sent to train at my house for 3 days where she was exposed to my door codes, medication, family (including minor child), intimate nursing cares, etc... On the 4th day, it was brought to my attention that she was fired because her background check came back with a felony. This complete disregard for patient safety and privacy is both shocking and unacceptable. A major issue with this agency is its evident nepotism. The fact that the company, including "Human Resources", is run by family members creates an environment where miscommunication, negligence and incompetence thrive, and accountability is non-existent. When concerns were raised, it was clear that the family members running the agency were more concerned with protecting their own interests than addressing the issues at hand. It is incredibly disheartening to see an agency who should prioritize the well-being of its patients fail so spectacularly in basic communication and organization. This review comes with great anxiety as I've learned that my personal information and care details were disclosed to external individuals. The frequency of HIPAA violations during my time at Mile High was astonishing, raising serious concerns, especially for those who dare to voice their worries. After my family and I expressed our concern and advocated for better care, the company retaliated by discontinuing my care with a blatant disregard for the Colorado Code of Regulations, leaving me in a vulnerable position without proper explanation or alternative arrangements. Their failure to safeguard patient privacy and continued care not only breaches trust but also fosters a fearful atmosphere. Don't be misled by certain reviews; the company pressures and bribes clients and employees for positive feedback, and some reviews are from the family itself. For loved ones, please prioritize agencies that value patient care, professionalism, accountability, and uphold ethical standards, avoiding nepotism, incompetence, and disregard for regulations.

There are a bunch of different offices so I'm sure the reviews will not be very accurate. It is a level 2 trauma center and is very clean and organized. The front desk had very nice people, and the nurses were very helpful. I went to the cafeteria which was good, with different options and a wide variety. The gift shop was nice, and even had flowers you could buy, as well as phone chargers, bags, medicine and other things. Flowers were a surprise as level 1 trauma centers do not allow them for sanitation reasons... but sure would be convenient to give to family/friends. Overall a great place to get care in Louisville and surrounding area.

The facility was very clean, and I was seen quickly--I didn't have to wait long at all for my tests, including X-rays, CT scans, and lab results. Applewood has undergone some beneficial staff changes recently. They assisted us in moving Mom in such a professional and caring way. They were completely understanding, and I believe they genuinely wanted what was best for my Mom. The director even called afterwards to be sure everything was OK. Thanks again to the staff at Applewood. Great job!
