I did a google search for "computer backup chilliwack" and found their site on the first page. I checked out their "Services" page (www.fixmyputer.ca/services.php) to see what they offered. I called and they were here in 1/2 hour! They removed my hard drive, copied it over to a backup server for safe-keeping and put everything on an external drive for me. They installed a new hard drive and I was up and running! It took a day to do that but my computer is back up and running and I couldn't be happier! They have a $5/computer/month backup service that is UNLIMITED (http://www.fixmyputer.ca/back-up-and-remote-services.php) and does it all online and I've signed up for that. He installed the software and had it backing my stuff up within 10 minutes! I would recommend fixmyputer.ca to anyone who has computer issues. I am extremely happy with their prices as well, as another computer shop I go to charges over $30 MORE an hour for mobile service than these guys. Stevens from the Chiliwack RCMP detachment will be contacted who will contact my local RCMP detachment who will open a case for posting a Yelp review. Since the owners know the local RCMP agent by name , it leads me to believe they threaten this often. The owners probably also believe that having an opinion is criminal slander.
