I took my baby to get her one year photos here and I'm happy I came here. She had many props for my daughter to use since she isn't a walker yet. At first my daughter was all smiles but she got tired halfway through and her photographer still managed to get some great shots of her smiling. She is really patient. I loved that I was able to get digital copies to send to family and friends. The only thing I wasn't to impressed with was the green screen. Family immediately pointed out how obviously photoshopped it looked. Other than that we had a great experience and we will definitely be returning. I booked Kim for a newborn photography session when my daughter was two weeks old. I originally did…read morenot think I would want or need newborn photos but after my little one was born, I decided I would really like a professional set of photographs to always remember this special time with her. Even though it was last minute Kim was able to fit me in within a week! Kim assured me I was not too late (I read the photos need to be in the first week) and from the start our communication was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Ahead of our session Kim sent me a very detailed layout of what to expect for the day and how to prepare. Kim is a mom herself and it is clear she understands how challenging those first few weeks are. I was so relieved when she told me not to worry too much about our clothing and she just wanted us to be comfortable and natural. Being two weeks postpartum the last thing I wanted to stress about was my appearance. Kim was extremely open to any ideas we had and invited me to send photos of my baby ahead of the scheduled photoshoot as well as any photo requests we had so she could be fully prepared for our session. Kim also made sure to let us know that she was fully vaccinated and would be wearing a mask during our session. Kim's home is beautiful and was a quick drive from the city. When we arrived, she had turned up the temperature, so the space was warm and comfortable for our daughter. It was an extremely calm and relaxed environment and she thought of everything, she had a diaper changing station set up, offered us water, and had a private room for me to feed my baby. Since we do not live close to our families Kim was one of the first people who held our daughter. She was extremely gentle and kind and did such a great job soothing her when she was fussy. In fact, she had such a great technique at getting her to settle I tried it myself when I got her home! Even with a full belly and a calm warm environment my daughter did not want to sleep during the photoshoot so posing her was not as easy since she was awake. Kim was so professional, she would gently position our baby but as soon as she walked away, she would move, often laying face down so a photo was not possible. Kim was always able to roll with the punches and quickly adjust the bedding to get her into a new pose without disturbing her. She was so warm and compassionate throughout the entire experience, telling us how great our baby was doing and how adorable she was. When we got the photos back, we were blown away. They were beautiful and she truly captured our baby's personality. Neither myself nor my husband were excited about having photos of ourselves taken but we are both so glad we did. The focus of the photos is on our daughter, but she was able to capture the love between the three of us. Kim's style is so classic and timeless I know we will be able to enjoy these photos for years to come. I am so happy I booked Kim for my baby Colette's photoshoot and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering working with her.
