He offered us a discount but his quote was higher than what I had budgeted. I thought I would be receiving good quality work, so I made an exception. I would have been better off hiring anyone else. His customer service is absolutely terrible, his excuses are numerous, and his deadlines and commitments are never kept. The very first warning sign was him cancelling our engagement shoot, a few hours before it was scheduled. Getting the engagement photos from him was an ORDEAL. He missed his "4 to 6 week" delivery promise and ignored texts, calls and emails. When I finally received them, some of the photos were blurry, washed out and did not meet our expectations. His work was mediocre and definitely did not justify his cost. After asking him to fix the engagement photos, he went on radio silence for another month. Several persistent text messages later, I got them a few days before my wedding! He once again promised to hand over the wedding photos in "4 to 6 weeks", which by then, I knew not to believe. The same process of calls, reminders, and voice mails resumed. Once I finally saw the product, I was utterly disappointed. They were washed out, over-processed and over-sharpened. Here's the worst part: he did not capture our first kiss!! Even an amateur photographer would know that it is one of the most important moments in the ceremony and I have NO professional documentation of that moment. I was fortunately able to get the unprocessed raw files from him, since we decided to process them ourselves. He very 'generously' offered to print us a photo to make up for not capturing our first kiss, but I cannot be bothered to deal with him anymore. I would not recommend him to ANYONE. He was an absolute waste of money and caused me an unnecessary amount of stress.

We had so many beautiful photos to choose from for our engagement session, some seriously looked like magazine covers!! We have zero regrets choosing VEK. Our wedding spanned multiple days, and they showed up on time every single day, captured every detail beautifully, and never rushed us during photos. We even got sneak peeks just a couple of days after the wedding, which was such a nice surprise! Honestly, such an amazing team, professional, creative, and kind. Weddings are stressful enough, but having a photo team like VEK truly takes some of that stress away. Highly, highly recommend!

He exceed our expectations! He was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and we talked for almost an hour on the phone. He made us feel very comfortable. I felt that he was very honest and reasonable in his pricing. We immediately signed a contract and agreed on our dates, timelines, and other logistics. He went above and beyond to meet up with my wife to better understand the style we prefer for our photos. We preferred a natural, unposed, and a creative style for our photos. Vinny met all of our expectations and we loved every single picture. All of our events went exactly as planned with Vinny. He delivered the photos in a timely manner as well. Overall, Vinny was flexible, reasonable, and very easy to work with. I undoubtedly recommend him for your wedding!

He was also fun to have in the bride's room while we were all getting ready and was very respectful of our privacy. He knew when to stay and when to leave to take other photos and scope out the neighborhood for our bridal party photos. I can not say enough about how great of a deal Matt's pricing is. He graduated from an art school where he studied photography so he REALLY knows what he's doing. He loves wedding photography so he's a joy to have around. Because he loves it, his price is for the entirety of your wedding and the price is less than what other photographers who didn't study photography charge for six hours. I wish there were bonus stars so I could give him a higher rating. He's flexible and easygoing and you should just hire him!

We received our wedding photos just a few days ago and I just can't get over how talented these guys are! It's absolutely incredible how they are able to capture emotion. Joe, his wife (Stephanie), and his dad (Mark) are not only beyond talented, but so easy to work with! I can't even tell you how many times at my wedding someone would suggest we pose for a picture and I'd turn around to find Joe...and there he was standing right behind me! Having the paparazzi follow you around for 2 days could be annoying, but you don't even realize Joe is there. At some points I even noticed Joe under the table trying to get the best shot...and his hard work paid off with 800 amazing shots! My only problem now is that I want my wedding album to include all 800 pictures! But I won't waste anymore words because as I said their pictures are worth 1000 words. So if you truly want to see the work of Joseph Mark check out the slideshow from my wedding below (warning- it's long) or other weddings posted on his web site. http://www.josephmark.com/DanandAndrea/
