She had no sense of online security:…read moreWithout consulting me, she created my username using my full last name, and included an admin login link at the bottom of the site. She said the username couldn't be changed, that I was stuck with it, even though I eventually figured out how to change it. For various tasks, she took weeks to finish when it should've taken days. When I contacted her about issues, it would be days before I'd get a response, even though the contract said she'd respond within 24 hours. She divided my site after Blogger migration to both http and https, which my next developer told me was slowing traffic. The site speed was horribly slow; she kept saying it was fine on her end; but the next developer also said it was extremely slow. There were numerous other issues that she failed to address properly or gave incorrect information about, like setting up the comments box, view-per-post tracking and sitemap. It didn't help that during several phone appointments, her kids interrupted. Her rate is cheap but she charged many hours. The developer I hired after her confirmed that her work was substandard.
