Gear -- the mix of vintage and analog equipment alongside a deluxe suite of digital tools and modern amenities makes the space ideal for any sound and any genre of music Vibe - creative and cozy - the songs and sounds readily flow. There is something disarming about this space. Staff - the co owners balance sharing their musical opinion and expertise alongside encouragement and empowerment of the performer. This boosts the artists confidence while allowing them to still benefit from the critique of the producers and engineers. Great studio. 12/10

These guys are brilliant, fully approachable and highly recommended. Their skill set is broad and I…read morehave had them help me with two projects. First, they revamped and tuned my personal studio space to fix all of the problem areas, proving that they have the expertise, sensitive ears and the right equipment to gather the relevant data and track changes in real time. They tracked and produced a solo record for me as well, allowing me all of the creative license I needed to feel like the project was truly mine and sounded like me. They have done far more complicated work for other emerging artists with astounding results. You can catch them in action on social media. I would recommend dropping by the studio and starting a conversation with them about your dreams for your next project. You'll love the way you sound!

You may have heard of this place, before -- it's where the Black Eyed Peas left some candles…read moreburning, while they were eating dinner, and set the whole damned booth on fire. Sigh. An oasis in the middle of nowhere, Burbank. Want to cut an album in the lap of luxury? Well, if you can afford it, Glenwood Studios is the place to drop your bills. The first time I ever had the opportunity to sing in-studio, it was at Glenwood; a dubious privilege, as I've been hopelessly spoiled ever since. The Glenwood staff is constantly on call to make sure your needs are met, which is extremely helpful when you're mixing and recording on the clock. They have a 6-inch thick book of menus from the best restaurants within a 15 mile radius, and the staff personally runs out to pick up and deliver straight to your couch. Who would want to eat on the couch, though? Especially when you have a beautiful patio like Glenwood's to enjoy, shaded with ivy and cooled by overhead misters -- one of my favorite places to kill time, when I wasn't needed. The interior design has obviously been meticulously thought out, with acoustics in mind, finished entirely in light wood. The vocal booth -- where I was trapped for many an hour -- was air conditioned, comfortable, and spacious enough with large windows on all sides. Every band member was visible at all times, which was an immense help during live takes. The board, the speakers -- heck, the entire sound system being operated is unmistakably state of the art. You can go digital, but what really sets Glenwood apart is their high quality analog recording system (which is not only hard to come by, nowadays, but extremely expensive). To this day, the sound of my first demo far exceeds anything I've cut since -- and that is, in large part, thanks to the remarkable Glenwood facilities.

Beautiful studio and amazing staff; took care of all our needs. Thank you GWP.read more

Hands down best rehearsal studio I've had the privilege of jamming in. Even if there's an issue with equipment, they're quick to come help with it. The restrooms can be hit or miss, I wish they took a little better care but honestly can't complain and maybe it's cuz I always book for the very end of the night lol. Another small thing is the drummers have to bring basically half of a drum kit (cymbals, Snare, & kick pedal **all of which you can rent from summit for a decent price incase you forgot) which can be a pain sometimes but Other than that, not much to complain about besides the hours!! I wish they could stay open late on weekends but they only open till 8 which is understandable, can't complain! Decent parking, right off the 210 freeway, solid gear, big ass rooms, very solid pricing, very friendly staff!!! What else can you ask for right?!?!? The only other studio that kinda compares is AMP In NoHo but they got stinky mics, staff can be weird, getting to the parking lot is literally like a maze and their gear has shit on us multiple times. So big shout out to summit!!! Love going here and will continue to support as long as I am physically capable of playing drums, bass and guitar!!!!!
