It was to my great surprise, when I found out about this great burger restaurant, tucked away in…read morethe Northside suburbs of Brisbane. I did a take away order, and the lineup and the stacks of hungry patrons waiting for their meal was enormous. This means that they are either heavily understaffed, or their food is awesome! Luckily it was the latter. The counter staff took my order, and told me it was a 30 minute wait (which turned out to be pretty accurate). We ordered a Getta Boss burger (beef brisket, bacon, cheese, pickle, jalapeños and special bbq sauce), Getta Pulled Pork (pulled pork and coleslaw with bbq sauce) and a serve of chips. The burgers were big. Big enough that we didn't really need the chips (which were huge too). They were quite tasty, and very filling. I will definitely be back again, that's for sure. The chips were so large, that I would definitely recommend 1 serve between 2-3 people, if you are all ordering a burger. I have rated this a 4 star meal. It is not the best burger I have ever had, but it was far from the worst. I would rate this burger as better than grilled, and burger urge. But probably not as good as da burger.

I bought a beef burger with the lot minus cheese and it was very nice, however the following day I…read morebought a vegan burger on an oat bun which gave me food poisoning. I only eat red meat once per week so went the vegan burger way. I don't know if it was because I suffer IBS or if it was food poisoning but I won't be having a vegan option again. I'm now sceptical about trying a chicken burger as most fast food chicken doesn't agree with me. I may have more beef burgers in the future.

Another location to add to Grilld's empire. For a chain marketed restaurant Grilld certainly bucks…read morethe trend with an eclectic mix of decor items and freshly cooked burgers. With an alcoholic menu on the offering they cater for everyone. Do yourself a favour and try the Brookvale Union ginger beer. My only gripe is they overcook the beef, as it should always have a slightly pink centre. Food 7.5/10 Service 7.5/10 Decor 8/10

Bottom line: I would love to come back to this place for some more of their burgers and chips…read more Expanded: while we were visiting some friends in Brisbane, we came out here to tour the suburbs of a major city. When it was time to decide where to eat, we chose this location that was right off the road. The venue itself was pretty clean and the ambience of it reminds me of a fancy Bistro that we would have back in the states. This venue celebrates and highlights their burgers, chips, and homemade sauces. The chips itself are what we would call "steakfries" back in the states and they are seasoned with house-inspired herbs. I ordered the Wagyu burger and it was delicious. The bringer was cooked at medium-well, a little over for my personal taste, however, their homemade mayo in the burger made all the difference. While I am usually picky about how they prep the buns, the hamburger bun complemented the burger well both aesthetically and taste wise. Overall: I would come back and try the variety of burgers that they have. It's a nice little joint to visit whether you are visiting in town or are just out-and-about.
