He left the job half done and the half that was done was done so poorly and inadequately. Now this shoddy work must be scrapped and completed correctly. There were multiple messages exchanged and he stated that he would return to finish the job and never did. Completely stopped responding when asked for proof of being licensed and bonded. Considering legal action at this point! Proceed with caution. I recommend you just proceed with someone who can provide quality work. I don't feel this individual is capable of providing proof of licensure or deliver quality work.

They clearly take pride in their work. Moreover, when a portion of the driveway didn't turn out right (some combination of shade and slow drying before a rain, I think?), they came back and redid the entire driveway. I just can't think of a reason I'd use anyone else.

Sadly the 16 year old unit had a leak. Decided to replace old 5 ton Bryant HVAC. Called on Monday and installed on Friday by two guys who were polite and professional. Thank you! Maybe not the cheapest (Carrier 5 ton) but certainly a high level of service from a local business during a very busy week for them.

Their estimate was very detailed oriented and the warranty was in writing. They were my first choice. Second step was to look at their digital footprint and read their reviews. I wasn't finding much about them. Normally, I would have moved on to the next estimate. However, I was so impressed with JP and with their estimate I called them up and told them they needed to prove to me they're a legitimate company. Having lived in Florida, I've seen my fair share of fly by night companies. They provided me all the documentation I asked for and even provided me with convincing documents that I hadn't considered. You might say I ran them through the ringer. From the time I requested proof to the time I received it, was merely minutes. I had received proof of insurance, followed that up by actually calling their insurance company for verification. I received their Better Business Bereau rating, Owen's Corning documents showing they were certified with them. I know I can be anal, but being retired military, I've learned to think worst case scenarios. I was satisfied with their credentials. They showed up the morning they said they would but I of course thought maybe 9 or 10 am, they were here 7 or 730. They replaced my roof, fixed my sagging rafters, replaced the worn out and damaged plywood, installed ridge vents, and did it all in a day. They did an amazing job to include clean-up. It's been a week and I only found 1 nail. They did everything they said they would, put every bit of it in writing and provided me with yhe detailed warranty. I whole heartedly recommend Smiley's Home Improvement for you roofing needs. I give them an A+ in service requested, Quality of products and installation and VALUE.

It was a rather unique situation, and I was glad he was willing to take on such a small job. I sent him a 1-page form to complete so that a charitable organization would be able to cover the costs (I had discussed the form with him on our call). I never heard back from him and attempted to contact him by both email and phone with no response. I would have been much better off had I never reached out as this was a significant loss of time. My family member is now still in dire need of handyman support and is at risk of physical injury until she receives it.
