When the work was completed, I was surprised to learn that the final bill was significantly higher than the amount I had originally approved because of additional clutch work. There had simply been a communication breakdown along the way, and I hadn't received an updated total before that work was completed. And THIS is where Cochise Motorsports absolutely earned this review. I called and explained my concern. That's it. I wasn't looking for a fight, demanding free work, or trying to avoid paying for legitimate repairs. I was simply a customer saying, "Hey, I wasn't expecting this bill because nobody told me the price had changed." The response was outstanding. The gentleman I spoke with listened, acknowledged that they should have updated me, and took the concern directly to management. He then called me back with a real solution. Management went through my bill and made substantial adjustments to make things right. This wasn't a token "sorry about that" discount. It was a meaningful financial adjustment that demonstrated that they understood the problem and genuinely wanted a fair outcome for both of us. THAT is customer service. Businesses are run by human beings. Miscommunications happen. What tells me far more about a company is what they do when one happens. Cochise Motorsports didn't get defensive. They didn't minimize my concern. They didn't make me jump through hoops. They listened, acknowledged what had happened, and fixed it. And I want to emphasize that the motorcycle itself received a ton of work: clutch components, tires, fork seals, brakes, battery, fluids, exhaust work and more. They did real work and deserved to be paid for it. My concern was never about getting something for nothing; it was simply about being surprised by a cost I hadn't been expecting. They managed to find a solution that respected both of those things. I called about a bill I didn't understand and ended the conversation thinking, "Well, THAT is how you take care of a customer." In fact, the way they handled a problem has probably done more to earn my future business than if nothing had gone wrong in the first place. It's easy to recommend a business after a flawless transaction. I think it says considerably more when you can recommend one because you've actually seen how they respond when something needs to be made right. Five stars, without hesitation. Then Junior showed up promptly. He was so patient, knowledgeable, kind and hard working from start to finish. He went above and beyond. There were no tire shops in Benson that had my tire so he helped me find the next closest place possible . This flat tire was a first for me, I was so stressed out, but Junior was so calm and friendly, I just can't say enough good things about his disposition (especially after speaking with several other tow shops and being met with rude,busy, grumpy men asking if I knew what a flat tire looked like!?) I can't thank Junior enough. He also followed covid guidelines and had his mask on the entire time, not easy in the heat! The only bummer was with temperatures nearing 100, Junior had no A/C in his truck!! It was a long hot drive!!! We were all sweaty, but for me it was temporary. I feel bad for him, he works so hard and doesn't even get a little reprieve from the heat once he's in his truck. Please consider fixing his A/C.

Luckily they were able to fix it in only 5 hours and charged me a reasonable amount. The next week I was on the highway again and again my car broke down with the same exact problem. Would I be there twice in two weeks if they had fixed things right the first time? I seriously doubt it. This guy is a crook and knows nothing about customer service.

I started calling after 5 months asking if they know anything yet. He said that one of his guys quit so he's backed up. Another month went by and I called again. He said it's on the bench and they're starting to tear into it. The hard parts look good but rubber parts need to be replaced. Another month went by, called him again. Same exact statement as last month. He told me he'd get a list of parts and call his supplier for a price and let me know. Never did. I went with my truck to see the progress. Got there at the end of August and asked to see it. It was on the bench totally intact. I took it to Kelly's tranny shop. I know I said no hurry but seven months and three lies later, I was done with them. He was nice enough and losing a tech sucks but he could've been honest about the status of my tranny.
