No one called me. I had to, at my own expense, have someone come in and fix it. Rick had no clue what he was doing. Did not have softener set up correctly. The softener has it's own controller which he did not have turned on. There was also a white piece of plastic behind the controller unit inside a black circular piece which was taken out, looked like piece of the white plastic pipe used near the softener. 2. I then had Rick look at a shower that was not working. He took it apart, it was a water line, said he wasn't working on it, left the shower apart. That is not the way you do business. Extremely disappointed. But I now found a great plumber.

He and his employee removed it and failed to cap off a pipe properly, which dripped all night and caused a flood in our house. We had to hire water damage experts to put huge fans into our house for 3 days to dry the damage in kitchen, dining room and basement. Mr. Smith denied that he was at fault and refused to run this through his insurance company. I had to pay an additional $1500 to get all new sub-flooring in the kitchen, due to what was damaged during the flood, new flooring in DR and LR as it was all one connected space. I wish Mr. Smith would do the right thing, admit that an accident occurred, and run this through his insurance company, rather than mine.

I called ARTISAN'S HOME SERVICES and they sent out Justin first thing in the morning to diagnosed my heating problem with his electronic devices. He pinpointed the problem exactly and replaced only what was broken. I was happy with the work and that he didn't try to upsell me on a new heating unit like most company's would these days. I was amazed with his knowledge of my system even know this is the first time he was here. I would recommend anyone that is looking for great quality family owned HVAC busyness.

When we first had a plumbing emergency, we were very upset. I should preface this review by mentioning our home is special, in that the previous two owners appear to have been the handymen from hell and everything that ever needs work requires a full demo and rebuild. After coming home to a plumbing emergency and calling every plumber I could think of and just couldn't get help in a reasonable time frame from any one. Many told me a few days or the next morning at the soonest. Some even wanted to charge an emergency rate for a scheduled visit the following day or even two days later. Thankfully Victor from Home Advantage Plumbing called me back just as I was losing hope and found a way to fit me into his already busy schedule. Not only did he arrive right on time, I got a text when he was on his way. Victor came in and went over the extent of the damage, taking extra care not to track in dirt or damage anything. He then politely excused himself to price out the job. He returned with a clear action plan with backup plan priced out to help alleviate some of my anxiety. Victor came in under the best price I could have hoped for and did and absolutely beautiful job on what I believed to be impossible without opening multiple walls. On top of the beautiful work and careful testing of his work, Victor cleaned up everything including some of the hoses under there.

Purple Plumber is a one man operation and when he was away in the past, another service covered for him. That is where the good review came from in the past. I've now dealt with John, the Purple Plumber himself. What an angry, unhappy man. I work in customer service and this man hit every button of what not to do. He is a great plumber, I believe he is, but he needs to hire someone to deal with people for him. Grumpy, angry, impatient. He got so angry at me for paying within 10 days of a service call, he wanted payment the day of but he doesn't take credit cards. Hard to do if you aren't at home at the time of the service call. He wouldn't work on my type of hot water heater and instead of telling me so, he went off on me about how he hates the type I own. Wow, how is the guy still in business? Neffsville Plumbing and Heating charge $58 for a call out, use them instead. No plumber is perfect but at least if you avoid Purple Plumber, you won't be lectured and grumbled at by some old man that must hate his life and his job.

Josh was responsive, prompt, and communicative. I had called & asked prior to his visit if, when he was here, he would be able to fix a pop up drain and leaking jacuzzi jet. The jet proved to be more involved and it would have been a seek and find for parts from jacuzzi because the tub is 30 years old. I let him know not to pursue that as the jets on the tub are functional. He was able to easily fix the pop up drain and cleared the drain for us too.
