The prices are great and they always seem to have a bunch of stuff for reduced prices. It is conveniently located on the strip of Richmond/Camden Streets where lots of other bargains are to be found so why not peek in if your hot pot is on the fritz?

As I had been thinking about getting a stying wand, I decided to get that one, there and then. The sales lady establish that the wand in the window was the only one left and that I could have it for 35 EUR. Result! It's very easy to go to retail parks or shopping centres to buy electrical goods. But I think I will be checking out local small businesses like Gas & Electrical Centre Ltd first before I make a trip to the bigger chains.

We wandered in one day and chatted with the owner who was so helpful. We got set home with some extension cords and a kind of crowbar to bust that door open. Everything was fine and dandy, though I think we may have paid a premium for shopping at such a little place. But since the owner was there and it obviously is his livelihood, I didn't feel so bad.

The massive industrial washers and driers are constantly running, along with a few irons, and freshly ironed sheets, shirts, towels and trousers are stacked high on most free surfaces. Bring your washing (or drying) down and get a quote based on weight; there's 's a little room to haggle since prices are estimated on the fly. You won't get much conversation out of the staff, but there's plenty of cheer once those clothes come back all freshly laundered.

Saw this shop open when waiting at Harold's Cross lights, left my scooter there and picked it up the next day with replaced pads and checked cables. Paid €30 which seems to be a normal price around Dublin The staff is friendly, the service was good, I have looked briefly around the small shop and they carry just the basic sortiment of accessories. If I'm looking for something special or feel like browsing, Cycleways would probably be the best choice, but for a basic service it is nice to have a shop like this near home.

With the advent of the cycle to work scheme I decided to to get a new bike. Whilst their selection of bikes is smaller than other "new stores" that have sprung up lately, it has everything any ordinary cyclist needs. I purchased a new Trek bike and assorted accessories with a 10 % discount. They even took the bike back a month later for a proper checkup after I had put a few miles on the "clock" so to speak. Cant speak highly enough of the two lads who run the shop, service first class, highly competitive prices and as it is in business over 70 years no doubt it will be in existence long after many of these new shops that have sprung up go to the wall. fair play lads
