Since Sacred Siren closed suddenly I had to go elsewhere and had no idea what kind of jewelry I had in or needed to downsize to. Thankfully the ladies here barely batted an eye and helped me swap out for what I needed and sent me home with salt and instructions for a salt soak (Sacred Siren just had me doing saline sprays for a few months). The team here was shocked that Siren had me coming in 8 weeks after my initial piercing but said they'd follow whatever my original piercing said to do. I was initially nervous I was doing something wrong but I am glad I downsized when I did as I'm much more comfortable now. Soaking is a pain and I definitely can't do it twice a day but I will follow their instructions as much as I can for the next few months until I'm more fully healed. Place is pretty sparce with not a whole lot of jewelry to choose from. For some new bars and a jewelry change it came to be about $26. They honestly recommended going to Etsy for new jewelry which is what I did. I know they'd be happy to swap my next jewellry out in a few months but I'll just do it at home now that I know more of what's going on and what's in my body. They left me with my sizes and my old bars so I can purchase new items easily online.

I even sent a photo of what I wanted and the guy said yes we can do it even with a quote and all . It was a very big disappointment .Because they wasted my time, energy and were rude about it as well .They could've at least just called me the day before and say that the tattoo was too challenging or something. In the end, I got it done, but I got it done at a better shop. I just will never give this place to business because of their lack of professionalism in keeping appointments and not giving enough time if they can't do it they should've called ahead of time to cancel if they needed to. Had the most amazing experience here! I had to book a while in advance with Travis (about 2 months…read morein advance) but was well worth it!! I had an hour slot booked where I wanted to do a couple smaller memorial tattoos in memory of my mother who passed from ovarian cancer. The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable. The first time, I had my husband's name tatted on my inner wrist. (Yes, he also got my name on his wrist. We've been together 20+ years so we figured by now, we are safe from suffering the "Getting lover's name tattoo and promptly breaking up" curse.) I knew from that first tattoo that it wouldn't be my last. As Hung said, "you'll be back more". My husband is also thinking of his second one. I lost a beloved pet last year in the most devastating and traumatic way. I have been thinking of how to honor him (and our other kitties) to show my gratitude for their lives spent at my side. I decided on one that I knew I would be happy carrying for life and that would embody the feelings that I feel. I'm happy that I waited until now, because tattoos are so personal and mine hold such meanings to me. Hung delivered again. Truthfully, my honest experience with Truth Tattoos was so much fun and amazing, and this is no…read morelie. A friend of mine had gotten inked here before, so when I was visiting we spur-of-the-moment decided to go back and walk in to see if we could get another, since she had enjoyed her first experience so much. That's also nice- you can walk in a lot of days here and get tattooed. Since covid that can be hit or miss to come by, and having to set an appointment can be such a pain. So, we walked in and they told us (3 of us wanting to get tatted, by the way) to come back in an hour and they'd squeeze us in, and that's exactly what they did. We all got tattooed by 3 different artists, and it was such a fun time. Everyone in the shop is super laid back and just enjoying the vibes and you could feel it. Mitch worked on my tattoo, and he drew up such a beautiful design I couldn't even believe it, but it was the truth. He was so good at listening to what I wanted and making it come to life, even with just a walk-in, smaller scale tat. I really enjoyed Mitch, he was funny and so charismatic and made the entire experience that much better. One bad thing about the Truth is that they are pretty terrible at answering the phone, so if you call don't expect someone to pick up. You have to find their Google Doc sheet to send a request for an appointment and that's your best bet to get set up there if you don't go in person. When I went to The Truth Tattoos, I was greeted right away, multiple artists stepped up to see what my vision was and quoted me an amazing price. Lex was my artist, and she was seriously the best --super chill, confident, and nailed my vision on the first sketch. I even let her freehand some parts, that's how much I trusted her.
