I give the sales associate five stars, but the management zero. Looking at an expensive pair of cleats for my son so it it was already a big decision to purchase for us. The cleats were dirty and obviously have been worn but it was the only pair, no box and zip tied together. I asked the manager if they sold used shoes and showed him where they were dirty. I asked if the price reflected the fact that they had been previously worn.. He told me they were brand new and the obvious dirt around the edges was probably because someone tried them on with dirty socks. He never even-handed them back to me. He just put them back on the shelf, as if I wasn't still considering purchasing them. We were still on the fence as we walk to the front so I asked the sales associate at check out., what the return policy was. She said it was thirty days as long as they were not visibly dirty or worn. I showed her that they were visibly dirty and had been worn and she went to the same manager and asked if there was a blemish discount or what the return policy would be If we purchased them. Manager said, no discount and they would not be able to be returned because they're obviously dirty and have been worn. BONKERS!!! Incredible, how dismissive and unhelpful, the management was. Like, we were a bother to him and didnt have time to deal with customers... we have given a lot of our business to this store. It's really disappointing the ridiculous scenario that we just went through. We did not end up purchasing the soccer cleats. read more
